Third incdustrial revolution has brought significant changes in manufacturing technology and manufacturing methods,in twenty-first Century the information explosion today,companies want to seek development,has excellcent ability to innovate is very critical.With the economic development and social progress,the competition between enterprises is becoming more and more intense,making product optimization strategy,procduct innovation is imminent.Only to understand customer needs,improve the quality of existing products,improve service levels,improve customer satisfaction through product innovation,the enterprise can gain a foothold in the fierce competition in the market.The rapid development of China's packaging industry in recent years,according to the packaging industry "fifteen" development planning requirements,and actively promote the green paste packaging bags,plastic bags the phasing out of the bottom seam,vigorously implement the "abandoned sewing paste" policy,to speed up its process and pace,each package enterprises should consider the problem.Packaging enterprises must according to changes in the market competition environment and its own operating conditions,the development of appropriate product strategy,so as to consolidate their competitive advantage.This paper takes the Y company as the research object,studies the reason,the implementation principle,the influence factor,the implementation content and the safeguard measures of the Y company's adjustment and the implementation of the product innovation strategy.The study mainly to the overall product concept theory and product innovation based on the theory as the theoretical basis,using literature research method,comparative research method,case analysis method and inductive method,first of all from the five levels of the overall product,an overview of the Y company operating status and product status,find out the existing problems,pointed out the original products have Y,survival pressure,development dilemma,it is imminent to upgrade and adjust the product strategy and product innovation.In view of the above problems,the analysis of the reasons,combined with the principle of product innovation,according to Y company's internal and external environment and other factors,put forward suitable for Y company's product optimization and innovation strategy.Y companies should seize the main line of the needs of customers,products from the core product,form product,expected products and extending products and potential products of five different levels of product problem solving,improve product quality;to expand the product portfolio,sales channel network quality customer service service,convenient to meet customer needs thus,create more value of the products,improve the market share of products.Finally,this paper puts forward the safeguard measures,and summarizes the inspiration of this case,which is expected to provide reference for other enterprises in the same size of the packaging industry in the development of product optimization strategy.Study on the problems of Y company,to help Y company to product innovation as a breakthrough in product management,through exploration in product innovation,the successful completion of the transition from labor-intensive enterprises to energy-saving technology,information technology enterprises;through the analysis can also understand that,due to customer demand oriented five,to extend the product overall level of products,is a top priority in the management of modern enterprise products,according to customer demand the development of extension products,will win the initiative in the competition.
