At present,with the impact of the national economic downturns,the retail industry especially national department stores which has a strategic significance of the national economy has shown a slight growth trend.How to adapt to the new normal,how to use the profit model to achieve the sustainable growth of net income will be our country's macroeconomic regulation and control of economic order to explore the important issues,is also one of the industry's most concerned about.At this stage,our country's department stores especially in large stores,specialty stores and retail chain-oriented enterprises,most of them will use OPM(Other People's Money)strategy.How do Traditional retailers withstand multiple pressures in the new normal under pressure to meet the individual needs of consumers,borrowing the east wind of the Internet plus to innovate and transform and maintaining sustained growth have become a public scholar and entrepreneur focus of this article.This paper is divided into five chapters: Chapter One is Introduction.This paper mainly introduces the research background and significance of the OPM strategy.And then summarizes the literature,presents the research roadmap,research methods and generalizes the research content as well as the innovation of this paper.In the second chapter,the measurement data of OPM strategy and implementation effect are analyzed from horizontal and vertical dimension.Through the horizontal comparison and analysis,we can draw the conclusion which industry is suitable for OPM strategy,and then compare the influence of OPM strategy on the financial indexes of related enterprises,verify that OPM strategy outweighs the disadvantages and is worth popularizing.The third chapter introduces the basic situation of multi-case,analysis the value chain of macro-environment,the development status of industry and internal resources.In the fourth chapter,taking WUHAN DEPARTMENT STORE GROUP CO.LTD,WUHAN ZHONGNAN COMMERCIAL GROUP CO.LTD and WUHAN ZHONGBAI GROUP CO.LTD as examples,this paper studies the profit model of OPM strategy by multi-case analysis in terms of enterprise capital allocation,enterprise financing ability,capital operation ability and enterprise capital operation performance.Chapter five draws lessons from the above analysis and summarizes the experience and enlightenment of the OPM strategy in the new normal situation.In this paper,three large-scale retail enterprises are taking as the case study object.Through the specific research on the working capital management under the reform of the supply front,the conclusion is that on the one hand,the retail industry closes to the end consumer so that mastering consumer demand makes the inventory cycle much shorter;A large amount of cash is sold that resulting account receivable in shorter turnover period;The use of supply chain channel right makes the turnover of accounts payable much longer.Based on these characteristics of large-scale retail enterprises,OPM strategy is suitable for retailing.On the other hand,OPM strategy is an innovative profit model,that is,through the signing of a similar growth plan agreement or the establishment of strategic alliances with suppliers,companies and suppliers obtain extended payment settlement time right as far as possible.The use of funds occupied by the supplier to expand the scale or investment,expanding brand,increasing upstream and downstream of the impact and control,thus make a profit.At last,puts forward some suggestions on the application and optimization of OPM strategy.It puts forward some suggestions on the application and optimization of OPM strategy.First,optimize the channel value chain and reduce channel costs;Second,take the customer service as a new profit growth point;Third,establish business relationship with suppliers with mutual trust and the benefit of the strategic cooperative partnership;Fourth,follow-up on-line and off-line integration management;Fifth,improve awareness of business risk.
