Research On Commodity Trade Between Laos And China

China plays an increasingly important role in the commodity trade of southeast Asia and even the whole world.with the rapid development of economic globalization and integrity of regional economy.Laos is one of Asian Union and close to China.to some extent,traditional culture of China has profound influence on the politics,economy and culture of Laos.both China and Laos re socialist countries which have backward economy and are quite small but enjoy abundant natural resources,material and water resources.Laos is very important in international commodity trade in terms of tremendous natural resources.As the economic globalization and integrity of regional economy develop rapidly,Laos and China come to new era of bilateral cooperation,especially commodity trade cooperation.there are more and more cooperation between China and Laos on the aspects of politics,economy,society,education,medical care,international and regional affairs.China and Laos have similar political and social systems and steady politic relationship.In the recent 30 years,Laos attracts foreign investments depending on its abundant natural resources.Laos takes lots of beneficial policies to attracts foreign investments and prompts lasting development of bilateral commodity trade of Laos.these policies will also make the commodity trade between China and Laos develop rapidly.China is adding more investments to Laos on the basis of Chinese traditional virtues and stimulates the economy of Laos,improves people’s living standards and undertakes an important role in the local economic construction.Chinese enterprises invest the following fields: agriculture and forest,industry,mineral business,tourism and water and electricity,which shake off the poverty and improve the national economy.China is the important partnership of Laos’ commodity trade and the first country that invested in Laos.According to Laos’ statistics,China is the second important country in Laos’ investment.with Laos’ limited economic manage and fundamental infrastructure,the commodity trade between China and Laos is prevented and trade barrier and race discrimination are still existing.Taking these factors into account,this paper comprehensively analyzes the current state,characteristics,existing problems and constraints of trade between China and Laos on the basis of previous study of trade between China and Laos through quantitative analysis and literature study and SWOT.this paper further investigates and concludes the features of trade between China and Laos and finally puts forward relevant advice and countermeasures to the existing problems of trade between China and Laos.this paper can provide some suggestions for the researcher,related department and enterprises in commodity trade between China and Laos and help the further development of commodity trade between China and Laos.
