With the continuous development of China's economy, people's living standards continue to improve, the corresponding consumption of the ecological environment is becoming larger and larger, and it also has a great impact on China's sustainable development strategy. At present,China's rural population still has nearly 700 million people,so the farmers' production, lifestyle and consumption structure are also a major part of the consumption of ecological environment resources. The suburban area is not generally in rural areas, with high economic level and infrastructure development, the demand for resources and the destruction of the ecological environment are not agree with typical rural areas. At the same time,as the adjacent city area, the sustainable development of the suburbs also affects the sustainable development strategy of the city. Moreover,in recent years the rural area is a national focus on the area, for the study of occupancy of ecological resources of farmers in suburban area is still in the initial stage of the research,is of great significance for the sustainable development of suburban farmers. In this paper, the life, energy consumption and agricultural production of suburban farmers in Wenxi County of Yuncheng were investigated.According to the survey data, the ecological footprint model was used to calculate the ecological footprint of suburban households, and the related factors of household ecological footprint were analyzed by using SPSS software.According to the survey data analysis results show that the ecological footprint of Yuncheng City, suburban households of Wenxi county is the highest proportion of the production of ecological footprint, this is because Wenxi County as a traditional agricultural county,is dominated by farming. In order to improve the yield of cultivated land, land use to a considerable number of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, fertilizers and other resources consumption and the cultivated area is positively related, caused by the main factorsaffecting the ecological footprint of arable land is.The per capita ecological footprint of the farmers in the survey area was 3.6476 gha,and the per capita household ecological footprint of high-income families was 6.9865 gha,and the per capita household ecological footprint of the highest income families was 0.1496 gha.The total ecological footprint of the family was906.2035 gha,and the total ecological footprint of the families with lower income was the largest,60.2262 gha,and the minimum ecological footprint of the highest income families was0.5895 gha.The ecological footprint of fossil energy consumption accounted for a larger proportion, this is due to the suburban area main daily energy consumption is mainly dominated by coal, and many households in winter by coal-fired boiler heating,in the area of energy consumption occupies a great proportion of ecological.Using multiple linear regression model, the main factors affecting the ecological footprint of farmers were crop area and family building area. The planting area of grain crops is the most important factor affecting the ecological occupancy of local farmers. At the same time, the households with less cultivated land increased the amount of herbicides and chemical fertilizers in order to increase the number of harvested crops per unit area, which led to an increase in ecological footprint. In order to reduce the ecological footprint of farmers,we should make rational planning of land, change the mode of rural development, and increase investment in suburban rural infrastructure.Advocate the use of clean energy, improve energy conservation and environmental protection awareness of farmers,to reduce the dependence on pesticides and fertilizers, use of green organic fertilizer, the scientific management of farmland,so as to enhance the quality of cultivated land, promote local sustainable development.
