The Rural Tourism Of Taian City,Development Research

This paper takes the development of Taian rural tourism at the present stage as the example and analyzed the rural tourism in Taian city using SWOT and principal component analysis.The results are as follows:By using the principal component analysis,the author evaluated and analyzed spatial differences of the rural tourism in Taian.The results suggest considerable imbalance in the development of Taishan's rural tourism.Taishan and Daiyue District's composite scores were above 0.Taishan District has the most developed rural tourism industry,which means the unique advantage of Mount Tai tourist area provides a good basis for tourism development in Taishan District.Daiyue District ranked second with the score of 0.92,thanks to its close focus on propagandizing Mount Tai tourism area and vigorous promotion of rural recreational tourism.The composite scores of Dongping County,Feicheng City,Xintai City and Ningyang County were below 0.Ningyang County got the lowest score:-0.96,largely because of limited tourism resources.Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process were used to evaluate rural tourism resources in Taian city.The results show that Mountain Tai rural tourism area got 93 points.The area centers itself on Mountain Tai and takes advantage of highly cohesive tourism.It enjoys the best tourism resources,development conditions and tourism conditions.Secondly,Dongping Lake rural tourism area got 85 points.Despite the long distance from Taian city and of the city's core tourism area,the area obtained a good tourism basis and highly complementary tourism resources in the help of the city's unique tourist resources in Dongping Lake resources and cultural tourism resources.Culai Mountain rural tourism area got 79 points.Although the area has few tourism resources,its adjacency to Mountain Tai tourism area contributes to a strong ability to accommodate tourists.Feidong rural tourism area got 66 points.While the area is rich in rural tourism resources,it lacks leading tourist attractions and hot tourism spots.Lianhua Mountain rural tourism area got 69 points.The area has made remarkable progress in exploiting rural tourism resources in Lianhua Mountain.In terms of rural tourism,Taian enjoys distinct advantages like good tourism basis,excellent traffic conditions,governmental support and increased people's income.On the other hand,it is also facing serious problems like shortage of technical talent,incomplete infrastructure,blind development of rural tourism,insufficient combination of local cultures,weak correlation between tourism value and cultural connotation,lack of positioning,and homogenization of resources.In the face of challenges from economic crises,rural areas are unable to formulate reasonable plans to develop rural tourism and venerable to threats like random distribution of rural areas and lack of overall planning.After analyzing the rural tourism industry of Taian,this paper puts forward some suggestions:(1)conduct comprehensive layout and reasonable planning;(2)strengthen government guidance and support;(3)strengthen construction of infrastructure;(4)highlight the marketing of rural Tourism.
