The Relationship Between Water Accessibility And Economic Development In China

Water resources are the basic natural resources, and is of great significance for China's lasting development. China is located in monsoon climate region, water resources are distributed unevenly in time and space, which decreases from southeast to Northwest of china. With the development of economy, water resource waste and pollution are becoming more and more serious, Water shortages in the area will be the main constraint on development. It is significant to analyse the status of water resources utilization. Through the analysis of the relationship between water resources accessibility and economy in China, it is of great significance to understand the distribution of water resources and promote the sustainable development of regional economy and society.This paper puts forward the hypothesis of water accessibility and economic relationship,we think that there is a close relationship between water accessibility and economic spatial distribution. We use The SHRD model and Spatial analysis method,analyze the relationship between the distribution of water accessibility and economic space Chinese, and according to the spatial distribution we put forward specific proposals based on the relationship.The main contents and conclusions of this paper contain the following aspects:(1) This paper puts forward the hypothesis of water accessibility -economic relationship. This paper uses mathematical methods to analyze the relationship between water accessibility and economic spatial distribution. We find The higher the level of water accessibility, the higher the degree of local economic development. The relationship is positively related.(2) Secondly, study on the distribution of water accessibility in china. According to the nine River Basin in china, It is found that the spatial distribution of water accessibility is different in China due to the limits of heights, runoff etc. The results show that water accessibility in the Yangtze river basin is the most abundant, the northwest and southwest in china are the lowest,because they lie in inland,surrounded by mountains,and lack of rainfall.(3) Thirdly, study the spatial distribution of China's economy. The spatial distribution of China's economy is studied by using the spatial interpolation technique based on the GDP data of the cities in china. There is a phenomenon of agglomeration in the economic level, and there are different levels of regional economic development centers in different regions.(4) Lastly, Study the relationship between water accessibility and economic spatial distribution in china. This paper uses spatial statistical methods to statistic information on water availability and economy. The results show that the level of water accessibility is higher in the economically developed central areas, and there are the Water Accessibility-Economic center in different regions.
