Research On Sustainable Management Of Land Resources From The Perspective Of Traditional Knowledge

Traditional knowledge and sustainable management of land resources is a new research.With the globalization and modernization,many traditional knowledge are facing the danger of being lost,traditional knowledge research is urgent.At the beginning of the study,the focus on traditional knowledge is how to deal with climate change,how to protect biodiversity.In recent years,land resource scholars start to study traditional knowledge with sustainable management of land resources.The traditional knowledge comes from community people interacting with local natural environment,social economic environment,in line with the actual situation of the local context.The traditional knowledge can effectively help the community to maintain the stability of the land ecosystem,prevention ecological disaster,and promote the main of sustainable use land resources,enhancement of people's consciousness of protecting land resource.Therefore,inheritance and research of traditional knowledge is very necessary.This paper uses the literature analysis,participatory rural appraisal(PRA),,questionnaire survey and SPSS analysis method,taking Dengcen village as a research case.This village has its clear farming season,traditional rice-fish-duck intercropping ecosystems,organic fertilizer application and loyal to land temple.They have rich traditional knowledge and sustainable utilization of land resources.Due to the remote location,transportation is not convenient,the traditional knowledge of Dengcen village retained better.Therefore,the author conducted a deep case study through field work,documenting their experience of sustainable management land resources.This study found that the village is facing some problems.Rice-fish-duck intercropping ecosystems is moving to rice-fish intercropping ecosystems pattern.Traditional way of farming is changing,and land temple faith is weakening and land is fragmenting.To solve these problems,government should guide the farmers to use rice-fish-duck intercropping ecosystems,encourage young people to return home and inherit traditional livelihoods,training land ethics;and gradually improve the market mechanism and perfect the land transfer mechanism.The following conclusions are drawn from this study: firstly,the relationship between traditional knowledge and sustainable management of land resources are mutual promoting.Secondly,traditional knowledge should be integrated into country sustainable management of land resources.Then,inheritance of traditional knowledge should be used the point of "develop-discard ",test traditional knowledge by practice and establish traditional knowledge database of land resources;finally we should teach young people to understand and use traditional sustainable management of land resources.
