Effect Of Human Capital On Off-farm Income

“Three Rural” Issues related to China’s socialist modernization,the goal to achieve a comprehensive well-off society,the sustainable development of national economy,had been attracted by the Government and academic.In the "three rural" issue,the farmer problem is the core,The key to solve the problem is to solve farmers’ income problems.achieving Rural labor to off-farm industries is an important means of increasing farmers’ income.human capital as an important resource reflects the quality of the rural labor force.is very important in meeting the choice of off-farm employment and imporving off-farm income,should be concerned.Based on the 16 county survey data in Zhejiang province,exploring the impact of human capital on rural off-farm income.first,describe the human capital based on education,training,health and experience four aspects;then describe the relationship between human capital and off-farm income.finally,after analyzing the impact mechanism of human capital on off-farm income,do Empirical analysis by Logit model and multiple linear regression model.The result found that,first,The human capital of the off-farm labor force is better than have no non–agricultural job labor force;second,the choice of Off-farm employment type and different human capital stock brought income disparities.third,education,health and experience had impact on whether labor force will get non–agricultural income.Forth,education,health and experience had an impact on year and day income,technical training had an impact on the year income,but has no impact in day inocme.
