In recent years, the business and management scholars pay more attention to corporate social responsibility. Enterprises can no longer ignored the issues of labor disputes,occupational safety, consumer rights infringement and environmental pollution and other stakeholders in their managing content while they must meet the interests and requirements of employees, customers, suppliers, governments and other stakeholders. The modern corporate social responsibility practice has shown that its ability to meet some certain standards of social responsibility plays an important weight in international business competition.Compared with domestic enterprises, foreign companies have viewed shouldering social responsibility as an important means to gain competitiveness and a long—term investment.In the paper,we take the impact of corporate social responsibility as a starting point,respectively analysis the effect of social responsibility mechanism for the competitiveness of enterprises from the resource layer, capabilities layer and management layer. Then construct the index system on manufacturing enterprise competitiveness based on the impact of corporate social responsibility. Finally using the statistical software SPSS 17.0 and EVIEWS6.0 to do empirical analysis with the listed companies data. The conclusions are as follows: Corporate commitment to shareholders, employees, customers,suppliers,government and the public welfare responsibilities will significantly enhance the enterprises competitiveness. There is no correlation between creditor responsibility and the enterprises competitiveness. The larger enterprise scale, the better the performance of corporate social responsibility,social responsibility performance of a large and medium-sized enterprise is significantly stronger than the small enterprise. The corporate social responsibility of a non-state-owned enterprise is better those of a state-owned. There is no significant difference in social responsibility on the dimension of corporate age.
