With the rapid development of information technology and the acceleration of economic globalization and integration,the market competition becomes more and more fierce.The competition among enterprises has gradually evolved into the supply chains.In order to gain a competitive edge in the fierce competition,enterprises should seek breakthroughs not only in their own R & D,sales,production and procurement,but also tap potential in the supply chain management,reduce business costs,improve business efficiency and market competitiveness.Due to the long period of planned economy management mode and organizational structure,most coal enterprises did not pay enough attention to the management of procurement cost,and failed to play the “third profit source” role of the leverage of procurement costs.Enterprises should actively adapt to the supply chain environment,and control costs by strengthening supply chain cooperation and supplier management.This paper analyzes the status quo of procurement management and finally puts forward the corresponding optimization measures.It is of great significance to improve the purchasing management,reduce the cost,and improve the economic efficiency and competitiveness.This paper takes the material supply company as the research goal objective and studied the following works.Firstly,it introduced the theory of supply chain,purchasing cost and supplier management,and thus constructed the theoretical basis.Secondly,it narrated the position of the coal supply chain,the method of material classification and procurement.Thirdly,it analyzed the problems existed in the procurement process,supplier management,material classification management and information system.Fourthly,it provided the procurement management optimization measures through using supply chain management theory and methods and the main measures are as follows: 0ptimized the procurement process and improved the management system;Analyzed the risk and profit indice of the material based on the method of qualitative and quantitative analysis,the Kraljic Model and factor analysis method,then developed the appropriate procurement management strategy according to the overall score of the two indices in the model.This kind of precise classification is more scientific and reasonable than the existing ones,which is more convenient for the differentiated and precision management;Enforced classified management of the supplier through combing the value and risk assessment,dynamic evaluation,continuous evaluation;Last but not least,established the material procurement platform through optimizing the material information system,analyzing the three ways of e-procurement and analyzing the structural characteristics of materials companies.This paper analyzed the status quo of procurement management and finally put forward the corresponding optimization measures.It is helpful for enterprises to implement a better management strategy,and our study also has certain reference value for the coal enterprises in strategic transition period.
