Quantitative Research On Hebei Province Manufacturing Development From 1929 To 1933

The early 1930s was a period of high degree of industrial development in modern China,known as the second "golden" period of the development of Chinese national capitalism.This period coincided with the worldwide economic crisis in 1929-1933.Hebei province is in the core area of the north China industrial zone,Hebei Province is located in the heart of North China Industrial Zone,in times of crisis,the development of manufacturing industry showing relatively obvious regional characteristics.On the basis of the integration of a large number of statistical data,constructed from 1929 to 1933 in Hebei province manufacturing output data,and under the support of GIS technology,analysising that Hebei province manufacturing output structure and industry spatial distribution changes of different characteristics during the period of 1929-1933 economic crisis.From the point of view of manufacturing output structure change,in the factories and handicrafts,taking cotton industry and clothing products manufacturing for example,the output value of handicrafts fell considerably,while the factory output value rose in varying degrees.From the point of view of manufacturing output structure change,in the factories and handicrafts,taking cotton industry and clothing products manufacturing for example,the output value of handicrafts fell considerably,while the factory output value rose in varying degrees.Factories show strongly alternative to handicraft.In terms of the urban industrial and rural industries,the urban industrial decline was lesser,the rural industrial output decline was relatively large,especially the rural cotton industry was almost bankrupt.In terms of overall development of manufacturing industry in Hebei province,a small number of industry output decline,most of the industry output increased,but the total value of output decline is larger,industrial development showed a serious recession.In 1933,the manufacturing industry structure of Hebei Province is similar to the Country,which is unreasonable.Heavy industry and light industry was unbalanced.Compared with the Nation,in 1933,chemicals manufacturing of Hebei Province had a clear advantage.From the point of view of the industrial space layout changes,the traditional industries and emerging industry,the traditional industry performance for the original of the status of the industry center decline,industry has a greater degree of proliferation,diffusion direction from the northeastern Ji and western Ji to the south,from eastern Ji to middle Ji and southern Ji.But its degree of industrial centralization decreased.Emerging industries on the contrary,import substitution such chemicals manufacturing is basically no proliferation,but its degree of industrial centralization gradually rising.Export-oriented type clothing products manufacturing in the region not only did not spread,but the emergence of geographical contraction.From the manufacturing industry as a whole,the industrial area is spread from the eastern part of Hebei province to the south and west.During this period,the development of the national manufacturing industry showed a serious recession and industrial structure is still dominated by light industry,unlike in hebei province,the national manufacturing industry in the industrial structure of food and drink manufacturing industry occupied an absolute advantage,while the advantages of the textile and clothing manufacturing industry is not obvious.The main resistance of some industries in Hebei province is that this period of economic crisis and the influence of aggression by Japan in the northeast and north China?tax,all kinds of assessment,usury and years of disasters as well as the handicraft industry congenital disadvantage.The main thrust of some industry fast development was the efforts of the national government and the provincial government and the strong support of the financial capital as well as technology and management applications and improvements.
