With the fast developing of economic and tourism in Hainan,the local economic basis,education and medical service is still on a low level in Baisha county.So that's both opportunities and challenges for Baisha.As one of the very important carrier to promote the economy development of the minority areas,Hainan Baisha Rural Commercial Bank(BRCB)is also facing fierce competition in the financial market.Staff in the BRCB bear great stress while facing problems such as deposit payment,loan recovery,social relationship handling and personal development prospects.If the manager don't pay enough attention to,or don't try to relief the stress that staff is bearing,the business efficiency will reduce in short-tem,and long-term strategic development will be seriously impacted.In this paper,the author will analysis the correlation between job stress and performance of staff in BRCB,find the stressors which affect staff significantly,then finally make operational suggestions to improve human resource management and job performance effectively.The author issued questionnaires to the staff in BRCB,reclaimed and analyzed data by SPSS17.0.First of all,make descriptive analysis in basic information,job stress and job performance.Secondly,make reliability analysis and validity analysis.Then make T test and ANOVA.Finally,make correlation analysis and regression analysis.Throughout analysis,we make conclusions as follows:1.Through valadity analysis,we summarized staff in BRCB are bearing 7 dimensions job stress which are:role stress,job responsibility,lack of recognition,interpersonal relationships,family factors,personal abilities,and personal prospects.2.Staff in BRCB with different attributes(such as gender,age,education level,job title,length of service,marital and child status)could bear different stress and make different performance significantly.3.For the taff in BRCB,there is a correlation between job stress and job performance.3 dimensions of job stress—role stress,lack of recognition and personal prospects have a predictive effect on job performance.
