The Yangtze River Economic Belt Comparative Study On The Agricultural Total Factor Productivity

China is a country with large population,and created by 7% of the world's arable land accounted for 22% of the world's population.But for a long time,our country agricultural development way is extensive,and the current tight faced with resource constraints of the grim reality,the transformation of agricultural development is imperative.The Yangtze River Economic Zone covers 11 provinces and cities across Shanghai,Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Anhui,Jiangxi,Hubei,Hunan,Chongqing,Sichuan,Guizhou and Yunan,across China's eastern,central and western regions,accounting for 21.4% of the country's land area,the area with taihu plain,jianghuai region,poyang lake,dongting lake plain,jianghan plain and chengdu plain commodity grain bases,extremely important agricultural status.Faced with the urbanization lead to the lack of rural human capital accumulation,population explosion caused by the per capita arable land decrease,water and soil resources and increase the constraints of the ecological environment challenge.Total factor productivity of agriculture,therefore,the research of the Yangtze river economic belt,put forward the corresponding policy recommendations and the implementation of the Yangtze river economic belt is the basic way of agricultural modernization.In view of this,this paper comprehensive use of the theory of economic growth theory,the total factor productivity,and the theory of convergence,the research analysis of this article,the three main contents:(1)from single factor productivity of agriculture machinery,fertilizer,crop planting area,agricultural employment and agriculture output value as an index,the research of the Yangtze river economic belt,the change of the agriculture development of time and space;(2)the use of DEA Malmquist index of nonparametric method,calculates the Yangtze river economic belt,including the agriculture total factor productivity level of 11 provinces and cities,has carried on the decomposition and the Malmquist index,from the technical efficiency,technological progress,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency analysis their contribution;(3)by using the theory of convergence from three aspects,the systematic analysis of the Yangtze river economic belt diversity and evolution trend of agriculture total factor productivity.Main research conclusions are:(1)from 2000 to 2014,the Yangtze river economic belt of agriculture total factor productivity growth presents band sex change trend,the overall growth at an annual rate of 8.2% on average,rapid development;(2)clarify the source of agriculture total factor productivity growth,the growth of total factor productivity of agriculture in this area,the contribution rate of agriculture technology progress,show that the main motivation is technological progress,but lack of technical efficiency and scale efficiency,it is also a highligt problems in the agriculture development;(3)from the perspective of three kinds of convergence analysis of the Yangtze river economic belt of agriculture total factor productivity growth is very uneven,there exists a significant difference between the area,and the trend of widening the gap present.According to the above conclusion,in order to achieve the purpose of increase agricultural total factor productivity in the Yangtze river economic belt,put forward firstly should pay attention to the agricultural frontier science and technology research and development,the innovation of agricultural technology popularization system,increase agricultural scientific research achievements conversion rate;And the agricultural development mode change,encourage the development of modern agriculture,guide the agricultural scale,industrialization;In addition,due to regional difference,can take priority to the development of differentiation strategy,and balance coordination,strengthen regional cooperation and so on communication.
