Research On The Location Of The Distribution Center Of Fast Moving Consumer Goods In Taiyuan

As the capital city of Shanxi province,The growth of population and the renewal of the consumption concept in Taiyuan make people's consumption demand increase year by year.The characteristics of fast consumer goods,such as short life of service and fast consumption require small batch,multi frequency distribution of goods and the timeliness of goods distribution requirements are very high.However,the development of fast moving consumer goods distribution industry is still in the initial stage in Taiyuan and there is no professional FMCG distribution center.The rapid development of city economy and the fast consumer goods demand rapid growth showed the discordant relationship.In order to meet the requirements of the rapid development of urban economic development,it is very important to complete the layout and site selection of Taiyuan fast moving consumer goods distribution center as soon as possible.It is very important to study the location of the distribution center of the fast moving consumer goods,which has a very important theoretical and practical significance.This paper summarizes the research methods of the domestic and international urban distribution center location,introduces the related concepts and theoretical basis of the fast moving consumer goods distribution center,and discusses the location of the consumer goods based on the characteristics of Taiyuan.The grey forecasting model is used to forecast the population of Taiyuan in the next five years,and then predict the demand of the future consumer goods in Taiyuan which is increasing year by year.Therefore,it is necessary to establish a fast moving consumer goods distribution center in Taiyuan and to estimate the scale of the construction of the distribution center.Then the article uses the set covering model to screen out several alternatives,and then analyzes the alternatives to determine the three alternative addresses.Finally,the influence of transportation cost and land cost on the comprehensive cost is calculated,and the sensitivity analysis is carried out to determine the location of the distribution center.The calculation results show that Taiyuan city should set upthe distribution center in Berlin million area.Through practical investigation,Berlin district has good traffic conditions and logistics infrastructure conditions,so the article has reference significance for the location of the Taiyuan city consumer goods distribution center.
