Research On The Evolution Of Industrial Structure In Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region

The rapid development of social economy and the rapid increase in economic efficiency cann't get away from the upgrading and optimizing of industrial structure,the economic growth could be achieved in the upgrading and optimizing of industrial structure,and the industrial structure change is the eternal theme of economic growth.The integration and coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region was raised to the national strategic level in 2014 and regarded as the third pole of economic growth in China.On this background,studying the evolution of the industrial structure in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region was a great signality to the coordinated development and economic growth of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.In this paper,on the basis of theory and literature of industrial structure evolution at home and abroad and with the use of input-output table information of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region in 2002,2007 and 2012,input-output method was used to analyze the evolution of industrial correlation coefficient and leading industry of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region;social network analysis method was used to build industrial network of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and to analyze the evolution of industrial network characteristic,such as network density,betweenness centrality etc.;and block model was further used to analysis industrial network to obtain industrial cluster network and to analysis the evolution of industrial cluster network of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.The empirical study in this paper indicated:(1)The leading industry in Beijing mainly included high-end equipment manufacturing and modern service industries;the proportion of processing manufacturing industry in Tianjin's leading industry was growing,and they were all technology-intensive manufacturing;the leading industry in Hebei Province mainly included agriculture and heavy chemical industry.(2)The economic contact between Beijing and Tianjin industry was gradually strengthened;the economic contact in Hebei industry decreased somewhat.(3)Block feature of industrial network in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region was gradually strengthened,and each blocks gradually showing Cohesive Subgroups with different functions.By contrast,the industrial cluster network in Beijing was closer than that in Tianjin and Hebei,and the industrial cluster network in Tianjin and Hebei was gradually showing a centralized feature.Based on the above conclusions,in this paper the author proposed policy implications of industrial structure adjustment and industrial layout in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,and provided the policy basis for industrial coordinated development in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
