In economic growth and regional economic development, industrial structure andurbanization has been an important issue of the academic community. In this paper, the conceptof urban evolution has been proposed on the basis of the urbanization. And it studies therelationship of industrial structured and urban evolution. Industrial structure and urban evolutionis associated, when the industrial structure orderly evolutes, corresponding to promote urbandevelopment and the evolution of the industrial structure is an important driving force for urbanevolution; In addition, the upgrading of industrial structure should rely on a system of urbanfunctions, urban space etc. to promote and support. The paper uses the factor analysis methodsand analysis to analyze the relationship between t industrial structure and urban evolution. Tostudy both the relationship is helpful to the government’s macro-control capacity, and is alsoimportant in the administrative capacity of the government.This paper begins with the background and significance of industrial structure and urbanevolution, then through summarized previous research, finally, it researches questions anddesigns research methods, and studies the case. In this paper, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei is theresearch objects; analyze course of development over the years the industrial structure and urbanevolution, summed up the characteristics of the evolution of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region of theindustrial structure and urban evolutionary. Then, using the SAS software, with the method offactor analysis and correlation analysis, processing the21years’ data of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,the paper does empirical research on the relationship between the industrial structure and urbanevolution, and assessed the interaction between the tertiary industries and urban evolution.Finally, it proposes the strategy of industrial structure and urban evolution ofBeijing-Tianjin-Hebei.The result shows that, the level of socio-economic basically adapt to urban development inBeijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the city’s economic development still has much room for thegrowth. From the point of view of industrial structure, industrial structure gradually toward theii rationalization of the direction of evolution has entered into "three, two, one" state of stable andhealthy developments. However, there are a variety of issues in internal of industrialdevelopment and urban evolution, still also needs to further improve the interaction between theindustrial structured and urban evolution. The first industry plays a dynamic function, but its owndevelopment is limited, cannot be sustained upgrade; the secondary industry does not form asound development mechanism and role in promoting the urban evolution decline; the thirdindustry promotes the urban evolution, but there is the phenomenon of virtual sophistication.
