Research On The Relationship Between R&D Investment And Operating Performance Based On The Listed Big Data Companies

In recent years,big data has become the focus of attention of academia and industry.With the popularization of network and information technology,the amount of data generated by human beings is growing exponentially,which is not the same as the original information age.From 2012 onwards,the term big data began to be increasingly mentioned,whether the media or enterprises,are beginning to use a word to describe the data in the report definition,or generated in the current era of information explosion of massive data,and named the technology development and innovation.With the conception of big data and concepts have been put forward,improve and use in practice,a batch of big data use is directly related to or closely related enterprises,these enterprises focus on their different business areas,but its core business or ability is closely related with the application of big data technology,and constitute a new industry.In recent years,the data derived from the big industry is becoming a new economic growth point,the future of China’s information industry and the development of the national economy is becoming more and more important impact.At this time,it is particularly necessary to study the performance of the enterprises belonging to this industry.On the current research situation,the research object and research methods for large data companies have to be innovative.Many previous researches are based on a regional or industry category as the research object,there are few people to study the concept of big data companies,naturally there is no big data enterprise as the study of performance evaluation.This paper puts forward the concept of big data enterprise and discusses it.In the past,the research on the relationship between business performance and R&D investment,the model is single,and the control variables are not comprehensive enough.In addition,there are two points that are not fully integrated.One is to measure corporate performance,most of the studies are replaced by one or two indicators,the most simple superposition of several indicators,this does not fully reflect the business performance even financial performance;two is to explore the relationship between the two,regardless of the performance of the enterprise there is little or no effect,explore the influence of R&D investment in the subtle aspects of people continue to.In this paper,based on the use of factor analysis method to evaluate the performance of large data,we make a further analysis of the specific impact of R&D investment,and make a more reasonable explanation.Based on the above research,this paper is divided into 6 chapters.The first chapter is introduction,research background and significance,introduces the research content framework and methods;the second chapter introduces the theory and literature review of related concepts,and discussed the concept of big data enterprise based on expounding the main concepts and theories related to the paper on the relationship and the related literature on R&D investment and business performance review;the third chapter is the empirical research design,mainly is to select appropriate indicators,sorting data,paper sample source,establish data model;empirical analysis of the relationship between the fourth chapter of R&D investment and business performance,the first and four quartile method using statistical methods of descriptive statistical analysis,to understand the basic situation of R&D investment and business performance index and construct the appropriate index system,using factor analysis method to evaluate the operating performance,using regression analysis,correlation analysis The empirical analysis,in-depth study of the qualitative and quantitative relationship between R&D investment and business performance;the fifth chapter are issuggestions,the sixth chapter is conclusion and prospect,mainly summarize the conclusions of this study,put forward relevant suggestions,explains the limitations of this article,and future research directions.Through the discussion of the concept of listed big data companies,to select the part of enterprises in line with the requirements.Then taking the 2012-2015 data as the study sample,calculate the Operating performance score by factor analysis method.Then we conduct an empirical test of the operating performance and R&D investment intensity,and to reveal the relationship between the various factors and R&D intensity.The results show that there is neither significant correlation between the Operating performance of the listed big data companies and the current R&D investment,nor the previous period.But there is a significant positive correlation between the growth ability and the R&D investment intensity of the previous three phases.
