Research On The Intra-industry Trade Of Sino-germany Manufacturing Trade Under "Industry 4.0"

Since the implementation of the German "Industry 4.0" strategy,the scale and structure of Sino-Germany bilateral trade has undergoing significant changes after the German "Industry 4.0" strategy implementation status.On the one hand,with the continuous expansion of bilateral manufacturing trade scale between China and Germany,Chinese equipment manufactured goods which have competitive price accounts for a large share of exports trade to Germany,but the proportion continues to decline.On the other hand,under “Industry 4.0”,the added value of German manufacturing has increased.The competitive advantage of manufacturing industry has increased;The proportion of equipment manufacture goods with high added value which export to China has increased.China issued “The China-Made 2025”platform to realize the powerful manufacture country target.The cooperation and competition surrounding manufacturing is heating up which is also reflected in the Sino-Germany bilateral manufacturing trade.So research on intra-industry trade of Sino-Germany bilateral manufacturing and influence factors is necessary to promote intra-industry trade level between and enhance competitiveness of Chinese manufacturing trade.This paper describes the German "Industry 4.0" strategy implementation status and the impact on the manufacturing from the perspective of manufacturing R & D expenditure and numerical control rate of key processes in manufacturing industry.Then use the GL index model to measure the intra-industry level of Sino-Germany manufacturing based on The World Customs Organization HS classification such as chemical products ? plastic and rubber products ? textile products ? mechanical electrical products?transportation equipment?optical medical equipment and build regression model to empirical analysis the impact on the intra-industry trade of Sino-German manufacturing of national factors,industry-level factors and the German "Industrial 4.0" strategyThe results show that the implementation of German "Industry 4.0" strategy hasincreased the added value of German manufacturing industry,contributed to the intra-industry trade level between China and Germany,and brought about the differentiation of intra-industry trade in different types of Sino-Germany bilateral manufacturing trade.First of all,the German mechanical and electrical products manufacturing industry by improving the manufacturing key process numerical control rate,effectively enhance the intra-industry trade level between Sino-German manufacturing.Second,the advantages of Germany in the transport equipment,optical medical equipment and other capital technology-intensive manufacturing trade have been further strengthened and the level of intra-industry trade changes to the inter-industry trade.Third,China has a comparative advantage in the textile products,plastic products with non-intensive manufacturing trade especially in the textile products reflecting the complete inter-industry trade.The paper also focuses on the determinants of intra-industry trade in Sino-German manufacturing,including the per capita income level between China and Germany,the degree of economic integration and the economies scale of manufacturing.The paper also analysis the German "Industry 4.0" strategy,mainly by improving manufacturing key process numerical control rate,effectively improve the intra-industry trade level of Sino-German manufacturing,while the impact of manufacturing R & D expenditure in the Sino-German manufacturing intra-industry trade is negative.Finally,this paper put forward suggestions to improve the level of intra-industry trade of Sino-German manufacturing trade such as optimization of manufacturing intra-industry trade structure,the development of manufacturing trade in services,strengthen the Sino-German ecological park construction,the development of manufacturing economies of scale and enhance the competitiveness advantage of China manufacturing.
