Research On The Characteristics Of Danxia Landform And Tourism Resoure Exploitation Potential In Hunan Province

Danxia landform is a special floorboard of landscape type that developed from red terrestrial clastic rock,it’s landscape has a high aesthetic value and tourism exploitation value with a typical characteristic of bare and red cliff.The paper extracted the spatial distribution and established database of Danxia Landform in Hunan province by using RS and GIS techniques,it can provide the data base for the study of Danxia landform in Hunan province.Using GIS method to analyzed the spatial distribution characteristics of Danxia landform and the human factors that influenced the exploitation potential of Danxia landform.Constructed the evaluation model of Danxia landform tourism resources exploitation potential in Hunan by using analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and mathematical statistics methods.The main contents and results are as follows:(1)Extracted and analysed the spatial distribution of Danxia Landform in Hunan provinceextracted and analysed the spatial distribution of Danxia Landform in Hunan province according to the image features,elevation and stratigraphic features,Hunan province has found 121 Danxia landform,widely distribute in 13 prefectures,32 counties,Concentrated in Chenzhou City,Yueyang City,Zhuzhou City,Huaihua city.Based on the analysis of its spatial distribution characteristics and elevation and elevation,The high density areas are mainly located in the west of Changde-northeast of Huaihua,southwest of Yueyang-northeast of Changsha,south of Xiangtan-north of Hengyang,south of Zhuzhou-northeast of Chenzhou.The Danxia landform is mainly small and medium-sized,the landform type is mainly the plain and hills.(2)Study on the exploitation potential of Danxia landform in HunanAnalysis of the human factors affecting the exploitation potential of Danxia landform tourism in Hunan,according to the analysis results,using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)to determine the weight of each index which includes area,elevation,traffic accessibility,economic development level,population and regional attractiveness,constructed the evaluation model of Danxia landform tourism resources exploitation potential in Hunan,evaluated the exploitation potential of Danxia landform tourism in Hunan province.Results shows that the first and the second levels of exploitation potential of Danxia landform accounted for 37% of the total,the overall tourism exploitation potential of Danxia in Hunan Province is low.There are 14 Fist level of exploitation potential of Danxia landform s,mainly distributed in 7 prefectures,12 counties,more than half of Fist level of exploitation potential of Danxia landforms are concentrated in the Chayong basin.
