Research On The Competitiveness Of Tertiary Industry In Yanbian

With the development of economy,the tertiary industry as services enterprises,with its feature of small consumption and high industrial additional value,accounts for increasingly high share in the national economy as a whole and becomes stronger driving force to the national economy.Yanbian,a part of minority economic system,whose development has been affected by the local population distribution,ethnic culture and regionalism,can not any longer depend on the growth of productive value of the second industry but to develop the tertiary industry.Under the background of this research,this text uses as a source of reference from the advanced research methods and achievements of scholars at home and abroad,and has great academic value and practical significance to strengthen the research on the competitiveness of tertiary industry in combination with the practical development of tertiary industry in Yanbian region.It is calculating the result through a series of economic theories and data formulas,taking advantages of the industrial gradient coefficient in the regional economics to analyze the competitive situation of the tertiary industry and its branches in Yanbian region that this paper uses,aiming at discussing the industrial difference of the tertiary industry and its branches in Yanbian region,location quotient analysis,comparative labor productivity analysis,comparative capital output analysis as well as industrial gradient coefficient analysis included.The experimental results show that the overall competitiveness of the tertiary industries in Yanbian is relatively weak,and there has been a downward trend.The tertiary industry in the wholesale and retail trade,scientific research and technical services,leasing and business services,education,financial industry has the absolute advantages of industrial competitiveness.In contrast,the real estate industry,health and social work,public management,social security and social organizations,transportation,warehousing and postal industry competitiveness is relatively weak,belonging to the competitive advantages of the industry.Services industries like hotel industry,information transmission,computer service,soft ware,water conservancy,environment,public facility management,civil service,repair services along with other industries with small industrial gradient like culture,the sports industry and entertainment industry are less competitive to other industries and are in disadvantage in terms of competitiveness.Through the above analysis,this thesis points out both competitive advantages and disadvantages of tertiary industry in Yanbian region,proposes targeted policies and suggestions to broadening development space,enlarging employment and promoting traditional tertiary industries.
