| With the rapid development of the global economy,road and public transport have become important national economic and environmental problems.Mongolia is a developing country,facing urban development and population growth,thus the problems of road and public transport are more prominent.Especially in recent years,Mongolia’s public transport cannot meet the growing needs of the public travel.In Ulaanbaatar,passenger services of 2015 were 262.8 million,an increase of 26.8 million or 11.4%over the previous year.And 60%of urban passenger transport is done by public transport.However,Ulaanbaatar’s public transport vehicles have problems such as over-time use,traffic network overlap and one of three people are in a traffic jam,thus there are security risks,environmental pollution,low efficiency and other issues in public transport.First of all,the domestic and foreign research on passenger services,found in the past two decades on the Mongolian traffic,there is no in-depth systematic research.Therefore,in order to effectively alleviate and optimize the current problems facing Mongolia,prevent and reduce the negative impact of the future,for the government and relevant departments to provide effective and accurate scientific theoretical basis,launched the study.Based on the theory of passenger service and the theory of system dynamics modeling,this paper analyzes the current situation of passenger transport system in Ulaanbaatar City from the aspects of economy,policy and law.Regulations,the management of passenger transport companies and historical issues such as the analysis of the existing problems and solutions.And forecast future population and traffic trends,and forecast the development trend,clear the direction of development.Finally,suggestions were made to improve the passenger services in Ulaanbaatar. |
