With the Internet penetration and penetration continue to rise,we are spending a lot of our time and energy into the Internet life in the Internet era,we will suddenly find the original users are also unknowingly consumed of the world products in the virtual world,which leads to an important question-whether the Internet virtual product is also an exchangeable product,Whether the virtual product is a new type of intangible goods that appear after the service product,how the value of the virtual product is confirmed,how the virtual product measured into GDP,what parts of virtual product have been included,and what parts are not counted,what policy should be taken into account the parts are not counted,this will be the content of this study.The second chapter of this paper defines the definition,characteristics and classification of virtual products and national income accounting,it also studies the characteristics and shortcomings of current GDP statistics.The third chapter studies the necessity of virtual product into GDP from two aspects: the value of virtual products and the transaction of virtual products.This paper first explores the value of virtual products in virtual world by using Marx's commodity value theory and western economics commodity value theory,and then explores the value of virtual products in virtual world,Discover the virtual product is a valuable product.Finally,we discover whether private transactions or through third-party trading platform transactions virtual products exist in the main phenomenon of cash transactions.Through these two aspects of the study we theoretically prove the necessity of virtual products measured into GDP.The Following fourth chapter study of the current actual situation and difficulties of virtual products measured into GDP.Through research situation of virtual products measured into GDP,only virtual products sold by game/software developers are counted,and the value of the consumer/personal sale of virtual products is be ignored.However,due to the location of individual and collective in virtual world is difficult to confirm,as well the lack of national and government concerns about the virtual world of transactions and some large trading platform deliberately hide the data and so on,the current virtual products measured into GDP also has some difficulties.In view of this problem,the fifth chapter of this article divided consumer / personal transactions virtual product transaction volume into two parts,first through the network real name system to confirm the actual identity of the virtual traders,for those third parties transaction volume,the volume of transactions on the third party platform can be mandatory to publish data and then monitor and statistics.for private trading volume,we can take statistical inference method for approximate statistics.The innovation of this paper is as follows: 1.This paper is a research paper on the research of Internet virtual goods and virtual services in GDP in the field of domestic economics.It is hoped that this paper will clarify the value and transaction of virtual goods and virtual services.It is important to determine which parts of the virtual goods and virtual services should be counted are ignored by us,and at the same time,it is hoped that this paper will draw the attention of the economists to the study of virtual products.2.The research of this paper has a certain significance for expanding the current industrial classification.The current industrial classification is mainly the first/two industries and service industries.However,according to the research of this paper,there should be the fourth industry-virtual products industry.From commodity to service is the first leap in the history of human consumption,and virtual products to physical goods and services consumption may be the second leap in the history of human consumption.
