| At present,economic globalization makes the exchange between the economic entities more smooth,the emerging international business model enter China,making the product be replaced more quickly,also bring uncertainty to the demand forecast.Traditional inventory management methods such as economic order quantity(EOQ),ABC and so on focus on the improvement of internal control more,less on outward extension,and now it can not meet the needs of survival and development of enterprise.How to meet consumer demand while making the minimum cost of inventory,is the new requirements of inventory management.In this business environment,companies are aware of the importance of business cooperation.At the same time,the development of information technology provide a good platform for the development of electronic data exchange between enterprises.At present,the academic community has made a lot of research on inventory management in the supply chain,but mainly concentrated in the traditional manufacturing industry,research how to balance the cost of ordering,out of stock and holding,but few about garment manufacturing industry which has short life cycle and small batch,that can not meet the needs of inventory management.Therefore,this paper based on the inventory management case of Metersbonwe,analyze the details of it and compare to other company.Then,make suggestions for improvement.It is not only good for itself but also has benefit to other enterprises like Metersbonwe.This article uses normative research and case analysis methods.In the aspect of normative research,reviews and summarizes the relevant literature both internal and abroad,make the definition of inventory management based on supply chain,and then,summarizes its connotation,mode and characteristicsits.In the aspect of case analysis,selecte Shanghai Metersbonwe Garment Co.,Ltd.as the research object,Metersbonwe as a research object,which is representative in the industry.The article focuses on the status of inventory management based on supply chain.combs how the stock produce and transport in the supply chain,and introduces the inventory management of Metersbonwe,and the construction of the platform and the use of the actual operation process,to find the problem and analyze the reasons.By analysis the financial data and chart,find the impact of inventory problems on the operating and financial conditions.And then introduce the case of ZARA,which is the leader of this industry,analyze its methods of inventory management,and compare with Metersbonwe,to privide some practical advice.The main contribution of this paper is: by analyze the problems of Metersbonwe,can find some deficiency in practice.For example,the relationship between the cooperative enterprises has not been synergistic enough,and lack of flexibility in the production process.There is a "bullwhip effect" in the process of information flow,and there is a game with the franchisees.The article analyzes these problems and puts forward some suggestions for the improvement of Metersbonwe and other companies in the industry.This paper is divided into six parts to discuss: The first chapter,summarize the research background and significance of the paper,the status of research all over the world,and introduced the methods and ideas.The second chapter defines the scope of inventory management based on supply chain,focusing on how supply chain is applied to inventory management,and lays the theoretical foundation for research.The third chapter mainly introduces the status quo of the inventory management for the short life product enterpris Metersbonwe,analyzes the inventory management from the perspective of supply chain management,combs how the stock produce and transport in the supply chain,and introduces the inventory management of Metersbonwe,and the construction of the platform and the use of the actual operation process,to find the problem and analyze the reasons.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the existing problems of inventory management based on supply chain and the reasons leading to these problems.In the fifth chapter,through the introduction of ZARA,which is one of the best companies in the ndustry,analyzes the best method of inventory management in the supply chain,and contrasts with the Metersbonwe management model.The last chapter,sum up the experience of Metersbonwe,and points out what it needs to improve,give some suggestions to provide practical guidance for Chinese enterprises. |
