At present,under the increasingly intensified competition of the global market,enterprises are exploring a more effective and efficient way to improve the corporate core competence.It has been the first choice of companies to build a unique corporate culture to maintain their competitive edge and sustainable development.An excellent corporate culture is not only the foundation of forging corporate core competence,but also the indispensable constituent part.And conversely,corporate core competence serves as the support and impetus for companies to build corporate culture.The different levels of corporate culture exert influences on the different aspects of corporate core competence.Besides,the different functions of corporate culture are also subtly helping companies forging their core competence.The thesis takes "how corporate culture influences corporate core competence" as its research problem and adopts data collecting and case analyzing method to study.After the theoretical discussion,the thesis gives a detailed analysis of different aspects of corporate cultures of several companies-IKEA and its product culture,Kellogg's and its social-relation culture,Haier and its system culture,and Apple and its daring and creative culture.As for Sony,however,the corporate culture is in need of improving.The thesis discusses the cultural development and reform history of Sony Corporation,through which the cultural factors that hinder the progressing of its corporate core competence can be identified-insufficient product originality and innovation consciousness and poor corporate system.Aiming at these problems,the thesis comes up with four solutions,including satisfying the customer's existing demands,provoking the potential demands,establishing performance assessment system in a real sense,and maintaining the essential part of the company's traditional system culture,to help Sony create a corporate culture that really suits the company in order to improve its core competence of every aspect and pull through.
