Corporate culture is what people commonly pay close attention to since the 1980'.The research of the structure, characteristic and effect of corporate culture has many benefits. It can enrich the management theory and help the corporation to improve the performance and efficiency. The theory of the core competence has always been the focus of the research. It is the unique and permanent ability which can make the corporation have the permanent competition advantage. In the 20th century, under the background of knowledge economy and global market, how to take the advantage of corporate culture to construct and enhance core competence is becoming the development trend of academic research.This paper researches corporate culture and core competence, according to the practice of corporate management. At the beginning of this paper, the background and meaning of core-competence-oriented corporate culture is introduced. The framework of this paper is given then. After, theories about the relationship between corporate culture and core competence are summed up and analyzed, new framework model of their relationship is brought forward. In this innovative model, how corporate culture affects the aspects of core competence is analyzed. On this base, the approaches of how to construct and innovate corporate culture are suggested, so that corporations' core competence can be constructed and enhanced. In the end, the main content of this paper is summed up and the development of the theory is viewed.In the process of the analysis, the research findings which are about corporate culture and core competence both foreign and domestic are cited, at the same time, the innovative opinion is put forward and demonstrated preliminarily. This paper makes use of several research approaches such as combinations of synthetic analysis and logistic analysis, theory research and application research in order to put forward the analysis framework and approach system of core-competence-oriented corporate culture. The importance effects to core competence of corporate culture are demonstrated by the discusses and theory innovations in the paper. And the corporations can cognize the impediments in the process of the construction of their core competence, so that they can construct their core competence more efficiently. The construction approaches of core-competence-oriented corporate culture are suggested combining the practice, even including the construction and innovation approaches of the elements, and all of these have assistances to the corporations' practice.
