A Study On The Selection Of Leading Industries In Small Towns With Chinese Characteristics

Since the beginning of the twenty-first Century,along with the information technology development,the industrial structure of our country is facing adjustment and upgrade.With the advance of the urbanization process,people living in towns have increasingly high demand for the personality of cities now.The single mode of development has been unable to meet the needs.Now it is imperative to build characteristic cities and create brand cities.Therefore,China began to promote the characteristic construction of cites in 2016,and put forward to construct one thousand small towns with Chinese characteristics until the 2020.After that,the provinces and cities have introduced policies to develop characteristic town construction one after another.This paper is based on the selection and development of leading industries and relative theories,combined with the characteristics of the small towns.Then we analyze the influence factors of the development of characteristics towns.By establishing the index system of leading industry selection,and using AHP and principal component analysis to construct the leading industry selection model,and then combined with concrete examples of Yunqi Town toe calculate results of model application,Finally,the paper puts forward some suggestions on the selection and development of the leading industry in the town.The following steps are studied.First,research on choosing leading industry development and the characteristics of small town at home and abroad to summarize,for the lack of research,and then elaborates on the characteristics of town theory and the leading industry choicetheory,form the theoretical basis of this study.Second,combined with China’s national conditions,the characteristics of the concept of small towns,characteristics,advantages,and analysis of the selection of leading industries and the construction of an appropriate industrial structure of the importance of the development of small towns.Third,analysis of the influencing factors of the choice of industry leading the main feature of the town,natural resources,geographical location,industrial structure and the existing infrastructure to improve the level,and according to the principle of building index system to construct index system for quantitative index,the formation of ten evaluation indexes.Fourth,the level of the principal component analysis method to construct the leading industry selection model,combining the two methods,first through the AHP to determine the weight of indexes,and then analysis method to extract principal components by principal components,linear combination formed the evaluation goal,then obtains the leading industry.Fifth,combined with the specific example of Yunqi Town,the application of the analysis model,through the application analysis and specific data on the actual situation of Yunqi Town,on yunqi town leading industry choice suggestions and late development.
