As a clean and efficient energy,nuclear power has become a key sector of global power industry.Despite that China started late on nuclear power and lags far behind developed countries,its economic rapid growth in recent years has also led to remarkable achievements in nuclear power sector.Further,the strict requirement for safe of the nuclear power plant impose increasingly high requirement on the electrical equipment for nuclear power.Therefore,companies in the industry are supposed to updated their marketing strategies in response to the development of the industry so as to survive this fierce competition.An important supplier in the global electrical equipment market,S company has accumulated a wealth of experience and achievement in the field of electrical equipment for nuclear power.The present paper discussed the environment that the nuclear sales team of S company faced with based on the PEST and SWOT Analyses.After that,strategies for product,price,place and promotion were presented based on practical conditions of the company's nuclear sales team and theories concerning 4Ps mix.In view of the company's current sales mode and the industrial trend,this work also forecast the capacity of electric nuclear power market and the electric nuclear power sales of S company in the next three years so as to guide its future market plans.Lastly,based on the environmental analyses and sales forecast mention above,the following suggestions were proposed for the marketing of S company.First,the company needs enhance cooperation with other companies and technological input.Second,it is necessary to adjust the performance appraisal process of the product and sales departments.Third,more attention remains to be paid to the company's overseas unclear power business. |
