Research On New Urbanization Theory Of The Communist Party Of China

Urbanization of China is at a stage of rapid development,and has made outstanding achievements.But it also brings a series of problems,such as the imbalance of regional development,the backwardness of the citizenization process,serious ecological and environmental pollution and so on.It is urgently required for us to introduce a new urbanization theory to guide the construction of urbanization in practice.During the Sixteen National Congress of the CPC,"the road of urbanization with Chinese characteristics" was put forward.After more than ten years’ continuous exploration and summary,the Communist Party of China,basing on the experience and lessons learned and summed up,has gradually formed a relatively mature new urbanization theory with Chinese characteristics,which provides an important theoretical reference for the construction of new urbanization.The formation of the new urbanization theory of the Communist Party of China has a profound theoretical origin.On the basis of the urban-rural relation theory of classical Marxism writers,Chinese Communists have formed the urbanization theory that conforms to the law of urbanization and to China’s national conditions after many years of exploration and practice,which establishes solid theoretical basis for proposing the new urbanization theory.The formation of the new urbanization theory of the Communist Party of China has a strong realistic logic.First of all,the providing of new urbanization theory is an inevitable choice of history.The "people-oriented" development concept of the new urbanization corresponds to the ruling idea of “exercising governance for the people” of the CPC.The new urbanization theory is consistent with the ruling goal of our party,which is to realize the all-round development of our people.Secondly,the traditional urbanization,which deviates from our goals to maintain coordinated,people-oriented and sustainable development,urgently requires a new theory to guide its practice.Finally,the rapid development of urbanization in the world and the historical opportunities faced by the new domestic urbanization provide the possibility for the formation of the new urbanization theory in China.Of course,the formation and development of the new urbanization theory is not easy.It has experienced three stages from the initial proposal to continuous development,and then gradually become perfect and mature.The theory system of new urbanization has been finally formed,which sticks to the people-oriented principle,the Scientific Outlook on Development and the basic rules of urbanization,targets on the goal of the steady improvement in the level and quality of urbanization,the gradual improvement of basic public services and rational use of resources and environment,and has its features of scientific nature,human nature,coordination and ecology.The new urbanization theory of the Communist Party of China inherits and develops urban-rural relations theory of Marx and Engels,enriches and develops the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics.It plays a vital role in the great practice of the new urbanization construction of our party,in the early realization of the comprehensive construction of a well-off society in an all-round way,in the socialist modernization drive,and in the Chinese dream of great national renewal.
