| Since the end of last century,with the network process,electronic information industry has developed explosively.Because it is resource-intensive and technologyoriented,it has become a pillar and strategic industry in world economy.Outstanding contribution to the economy makes it become the new opportunity for the rise of emerging industrial countries.However,the situation of international competition is complicated,and market competition between old traditional powers and emerging industrial countries becomes fiercer.When a country in which the electronic information industry is the largest foreign trade industry,it is an important way to seize the world competition.Based on a large number of historical data,this article has discussed the historical development process and characteristics of the United States,Japan and South Korea and summarized the applicable experience and lessons for China.Then,reference to "Diamond model" and the WEF evaluation index,we builts a electronic information industry’s international competitiveness evaluation system which contains 36 indicators and makes a factor analysis for 37 countries.The main results are as follows.1)International competitiveness can be described by industrial environment,knowledge reserve,product growth,market competition,export capacity,government promotion and networking.2)There is a gap between China and other three countries in technology reserve.3)Due to the abundant labor resources and good economic environment,there is advantage in product growth in China.4)The profit of Chinese products is so low that it is necessary to enhance competitiveness.After quantitative analysis,this article puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the competitiveness of Chinese electronic information industry. |
