The quality of the cultivated land is directly related to food safety and security, especially under the background of hard constraints on resources and environment in our country, how to implement the protection and promotion of cultivated land quality and stop the decrease of the quality of the cultivated land has become a hot issue among the government and scholars.Since the implementation of household contract responsibility system in China, farmers has gradually become the basic unit of cultivated land use,and plays an important role in the quality of cultivated land protection, and as we all know, the farmer's cultivated land use behavior is closely related to it's cognition of cultivated land quality, the cognitive level is directly related to farmers to adopt protective farming or destructive farming methods. Therefore, this study starting from the micro-perspective of the farmers and taking the Shenbei New District of Shenyang City as an example, analyzed the date of 233 households in Shenbei New District to studies the differences in the cognition of cultivated land quality of farmers in different regions, and on this basis to build the theoretical framework for the cognitive factors affecting farmers cultivated land quality.Through the structural equation model, this paper analyzes the cognition of farmland cultivated land quality and its action direction and influence validity,so as to provide some theoretical basis for the study of the quality of farmland protection and farmer's behavior. In practice, for the government to guide farmers to rational use of cultivated land and protect the quality of cultivated land to provide the basis for the policy, the results of this study are as follows:(1)Farmers 'cognition of cultivated land quality is different in different regions.Rural farmers' awareness of cultivated land suitability is higher than that of suburban and suburban farmers, and suburban farmers are better understood than suburban and rural farmers.(2)The farmer's own condition is the most important direct influence factor of farmer's cognition of cultivated land quality, and the social and economic factors are the most important factors affecting the quality of cultivated land and the quality of cultivated land. The factors affecting the quality of farmland cultivars were weakened in succession, and the load factor of the standardized factors was 0.877,0.731 and 0.358 respectively. At the same time, the education period of farmers' the validity of the crop is 0.757,and the crop price is indirectly affected by the social and economic factors. The validity of the crop price is 0.576,and the distance from the city as the natural resource endowment indirectly affects the cognition of the cultivated land quality of the farmer, and its validity is 0.887.The influence and direction of each influencing factor are different. It can provide a theoretical basis for the follow-up research and provide a realistic basis for the government to guide the farmers to cultivate the quality of cultivated land.Based on the above research results, the author puts forward some countermeasures and sugge.stions on how to improve the awareness of farmers 'cultivated land quality and encourage farmers to cultivate arable land:(1)To strengthen the propaganda and education of farmers,to clarify the awareness of farmers' cultivated land quality responsibility,to develop and guide;(2)to establish the implementation of the supervision and management of arable land protection management mechanism to control the prevention and control of arable land pollution, through the relevant departments and village collective farmers to implement the quality of conservation work;(3)to promote agricultural technology, improve the level of awareness of farmers, and effectively protect Cultivated land quality.
