Research On The Impact Of Architectural Innovation On Corporate Performance

Architectural innovation is a systematic innovation about the product structure,organization structure and industry structure,refers to the new connection way to relaunch the connections between modules,and then to improve the system performance.Many studies have shown that architectural innovation affects corporate performance.But the path of architecture innovation affect the enterprise performance is not clear.This article discusses about how Geely company carry out architectural innovation in the different development stage,and the path of the architectural innovation on enterprise performance.from the dynamic perspective,guided by the timeline,in the method of longitudinal case study,this article discusses the architectural innovation in enterprise development stage and the important role to improve enterprise performance.The results show that because of the mature industrial architecture,the dominant design has been formed,the new entrants to the market in order to obtain good performance in the initial stage to support the strong development of the future should carry out the product architecture innovation on the basis of the existing module to form their own leading design to improve enterprise performance.because of the mature technology and the mature industry framework,the effects of the dominant design become smaller,the enterprise should carry on the organization structure innovation to strengthen the role of complementary assets,at the same time it can enhance the dynamic capability of the firm,so as to improve enterprise performance.This article finally build the architecture innovation path and the theoretical framework of influence on the enterprise performance.
