With the development of economic globalization and international division of labor pattern of evolution, the dominant form of international specialization has gradually changed from the final product line mode of division of labor,to the development of value-added products link for line division of labor pattern, namely the division of Global Value Chains that is GVCs.This new type of international specialization has a great influence on a country's trade flow and the nature of trade growth.Represented by the enterprise heterogeneity, the new new trade theory points out that the trade growth can be made by intensive margin and extensive margin, that is the Dual Margin.Academic circles generally believe that in terms of export growth, intensive margin of trade means the expansion of the product absolute quantity, extensive margin means the expansion of the product variety. As a high degree of division of China's integration into the specialization of global value chains and fast export growth industries,What's the characteristic of China's manufacturing export growth dual margin? What kind of impact has participation in Specialization under global value chains made on the China's manufacturing export growth dual margin? This article tries to solve these problems. This article tries to calculate relevant indicators of China's manufacturing participation in the specialization of global value chains and export growth dual margin, and then analyze the impact mechanism of the specialization of global value chains on China's Manufacturing export growth dual margin,at last use the empirical model to verify the effect of specialization of global value chains on the dual margin of China's export growth. At first,We use GVCs position index and GVCs competitive index which Koopman has created in 2010 and 2014 as GVCs index to measure status of the specialization of global value chains.and use Amiti and Freund's similar method in 2010 about the dual margin to estimates China's export growth, the research shows that:first, from the status specialization under GVCs,the position of China's manufacturing specialization under global value chains is not high enough;Second, from dual margin of China's export growth,China's manufacturing export growth mainly relies on the intensive margin, extension of marginal contribution is very small. Then,we analyze the effect of specialization under GVCs on the manufacturing exports growth dual margin and use model to do the corresponding empirical test, the study shows that:firstly, specialization under global value chains has effects on the dual margin both China's manufacturing sector as a whole and different industries, the effects on the whole manufacturing sector and labor-intensive manufacturing export growth mainly through promoting extensive margin, while the effects on the capital-intensive manufacturing and knowledge-intensive manufacturing export growth mainly through the influence of intensive margin;secondly, the specialization of global value chains affect the dual margin of manufacturing growth in Chinese exports mainly through three ways, that is by production efficiency improving,by elements of structure adjustment and by technological innovation upgrade, but the impact mechanism has industry difference:the effect on the intensive margin of the whole manufacturing sector is mainly by the production efficiency, effect ways of labor-intensive manufacturing export growth is mainly through the influence of element, structure adjustment and upgrade of technological innovation, effect ways of capital-intensive manufacturing export growth mainly through improving production efficiency and the technological innovation, upgrading, effect ways of knowledge(technology)labor-intensive manufacturing export growth is mainly through technology innovation upgrade;thirdly,in addition to the main factor the global value chains, total factor productivity, capital labor ratio,r&d spending also have different effects on manufacturing exports intensive margin and extensive margin. In general speaking:total factor productivity has a positive impact on intensive margin while has a negative effect on extensive margin;capital labor ratio has a positive impact on intensive margin while has a negative effect on extensive margin;R&D has a positive impact on both intensive margin and extensive margin, but the impact to the intensive margin is greater than that of extensive margin. At last, based on the above conclusions,we put forward the following four Suggestions in order to promote China's export growth stability:first, raise the division status of China's manufacturing in the global value chains;Second, further improve productivity of all kinds of China's manufacturing;Third, gradually adjust China's manufacturing inputs structure;Fourth, increase the intensity of introduction and new product research of China's new and high technological manufacturing.
