Research On Distributed Inventory Strategy Of City-wide Clothing Store In VMI Mode

In recent years,market competition has become more intense as the global economic community matures.For the diverse and unpredictable buyer’s market,there is often a fierce competition between enterprises.At the same time,the buyer’s demand for the product presents a difference,non-static and uncertainty,the product life cycle is also shortened.For garment industry,the situation is especially obvious.Today’s garment industry is characterized by:product life cycle is short,varieties more and number less,the requirements of customer about delivery dates,price,quality of clothing products and personalized are more and more high.In the face of such situation and characteristics,clothing enterprises should solve most is how to reduce inventory,and at the same time make rapid response to customer needs to increase sales.This paper through the study of VMI(Vendor Managed Inventory)mode’s distributed Inventory management model,discuss Inventory replenishment strategy and allocation strategy based on local stores under this model.Research is as follows:(1)Clear the scene.The key of distributed inventory management’s implementation is how to make decision about holding-inventory and how to deal with the lack of inventory.In order to solve the problem of inventory control,the paper mainly study the inventory management of a secondary distributed inventory supply chain system was composed of suppliers and distributors under the mode of VMI,means the supplier control inventory for multiple distributors.Through establishing virtual coordination center,use the idea of centralized control and decentralized management,centralized control inventory information scattered in inventory points.(2)Research a distributed inventory demand forecasting method under VMI mode.Clothing industry inventory requirements have the characteristics of seasonal changes(year-on-year rise),and considering this characteristic is uncertain,according to the history data,using stochastic time series prediction and forecasting of grey forecasting combination algorithm to model,and predict the data comparing with actual data,which has greatly improved the accuracy of the fitting model.Through the inventory demand forecasting,provide support for inventory strategy optimization.(3)Research based on secondary distributed inventory management of supply chain system under the mode of VMI model,explores the replenishment strategy and allocation strategy in this model.Set up mathematical model according to the concrete situation in practical,using adaptive genetic algorithm for inventory control,solve the cost problem of inventory replenishment and allocate.(4)Combined with the specific business of an enterprise in Beijing,the historical demand data analysis and fitting,and then predict the next period of time the product demand,replenishment and allocation analysis,compared to the cost of these two ways to verify the use of VMI model Under the advantages of distributed inventory strategy.
