Study On The Spatial Pattern Of Anhui City-region

Though as a central province,Anhui province is the important economic hinterland of Shanghai,and has huge potential for development.It is west of the original Yangtze River Delta,east of the urban agglomeration in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River(MRYR),southeast of the Central Plains Economic Zone,and southwest of the Huaihai Economic Zone.Besides,there are megalopolises along Yangtze River in Anhui Province.Overall,these city-regions present diversified.However,it is urgent to study whether the cities of Anhui Province are close to many cities and regions,whether they can be successfully integrated into the diversified city-regions and how to identify their position,development direction and path.This paper focuses on the external contact of the city,using the extroversion.Utilize economic census data to construct urban contact based on the internal network of the enterprise.And the social network analysis(SNA)method is used to explore the multi-range,multi-level and multi-angle city-region pattern in Anhui Province,by means of measuring the urban contact between cities of Anhui Province and national city-regions.Then from the perspective of investment,outline the spatial differentiation of the national investment in Anhui.Another part is based on the firms within Anhui Province,and it is measured according to the city contact,the attraction and radiation force of the prefecture-level cities,in view of gravity.Using the UCINET(a social network analysis software),this paper studies the urban network structure and characteristics of Anhui Province by the methods of network density analysis and central analysis.From the county scale,analyze the city network system within Anhui Province.Finally,according to the urban gravity and GDP,weight the prefecture-level city's capital attraction,absorption capacity,and conversion capacity.The research shows that the development of export-oriented economy in Anhui Province has achieved remarkable results,and the attractiveness of domestic city-region investment has been increasing.However,the domestic city-region investment in Anhui has some spatial differentiation,and the pattern of investment attraction and radiation force also have a large spatial imbalance in the province.Moreover,only Hefei is the most prominent in attractiveness of capital,absorption and transformation capacity,other prefecture-level cities' capital conversion capacities are relatively low.In the prefecture-level city scale,except that Hefei is the absolute core,Wuhu,Ma'anshan are both as the second core.In addition,Chuzhou,Bengbu,Huainan and Anqing are respectively important nodes in the east,north,middle and southwest of Anhui.These prefecture-level cities constitute the main body of the Anhui city-region,which are the vital links between the national city-regions and Anhui Province.In the county scale,the city-region pattern in Anhui Province formed a top-down radiation-based urban network system,with grade,imbalance and asymmetry:Hefei municipal area as the absolute core,the other municipal districts as hub nodes,count-level cities and counties as an important nodes or general nodes.
