Research On Competitiveness Of Tea Industrial Clusters In Southern Fujian

Tea industry,as the pillar industry of Fujian agriculture,has played an important role in satisfying tea market demand,helping farmers get rid of poverty and become rich,increasing foreign exchange receipts and promoting economic development in Fujian Province.Tea industrial cluster is an important industrial organization form.The enterprises in the tea industrial cluster can exert the scale economy and the scope economic benefits through the close communication and cooperation,and have a strong spillover effect.With the convenience of transportation and the continuous improvement of market conditions,the circulation scope of tea has gradually expanded,the competition between oolong tea producing areas is becoming more and more fierce.Minnan oolong tea not only have to compete with Minbei oolong tea,Guangdong oolong tea,Taiwan oolong tea in market,but also have to compete with Hubei,Hunan and other new competitors in the oolong tea market.Hence,it is need to evaluate the competitiveness of tea industrial clusters in Southern Fujian,and find out some main factors which hindering the competitiveness of tea industrial clusters in Southern Fujian,so as to guide the local government to take appropriate measures to solve the practical problems of tea industrial clusters in Southern Fujian,to promote the competitiveness of tea industrial clusters in Southern Fujian.This paper makes the competitiveness of tea industrial clusters in Southern Fujian as research object.Firstly,the literature research method is used to sort out the existing literature at home and abroad.And defined the concept of the tea industrial clusters and the competitiveness of tea industrial clusters.Secondly,defines the scope of tea industrial clusters in Southern Fujian,describes the general development situation of tea industrial clusters in Southern Fujian.Then,using the method of chart analysis,to qualitatively analyses the factors status on the competitiveness of the tea industrial clusters in Southern Fujian.On the basis of qualitative analysis,this paper selects 24 specific projects,establish the evaluation index system of tea industrial clusters in Southern Fujian.A method of questionnaire survey was conducted to collect the relevant data of some experts and enterprises in the key tea producing counties in Southern Fujian,116 questionnaires of enterprises and 44questionnaires of experts were collected,in which,there are 100 valid questionnaires of enterprises and 40 valid questionnaires of experts.To measure the competitiveness of tea industrial clusters in Southern Fujian,and the score was 435.It shows that the average score of six factors of tea industrial clusters in Southern Fujian are between 6-7 scores,the tea industrial clusters in Southern Fujian has a certain competitiveness within China,but the competitiveness is not strong.Through the study of specific factors,this paper draws the following results:In the tea industrial clusters in Southern Fujian,the natural resources factor contributes most to the competitiveness of the cluster,and the capital resource factor is the main factor that restricts the competitiveness of the cluster in aspect of groundings;the development factors of the express industry contribute most to the competitiveness of the cluster,the added value of tea products processing and the scale of leading enterprises are important factors that restrict the competitiveness of the cluster in aspect of enterprises;the domestic market brand recognition status make biggest contribution to the competitiveness of the cluster,international market brand recognition status,the status of international market entry and the status of international marketing are important factors that restrict the competitiveness of the cluster in aspect of markets.Finally,according to the factors of restricting the competitiveness of the cluster,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the tea industrial clusters in Southern Fujian.
