The Effect Of Guanxi Network On Entrepreneurial Performance:The Mediating Effect Of Entrepreneurial Learning

Entrepreneurship not only creates job positions,but also plays a vital role in promoting both economic development and social innovation.However,the entrepreneurship failure rate stays at a high level for a long time.It is quite difficult for most venture companies to survive and develop in such fierce market circumstances,so that entrepreneur's initiative to carry entrepreneurial activities is severely affected.Entrepreneurial performance,as an important indicator of entrepreneurial success,draws much attention from venture companies on how to effectively improve it.China is a country with human relationship,in which "guanxi"plays an important role in both economic activities among enterprises and interaction activities among people.Guanxi network can help enterprise gain reliable information and resources from its business partners and governmental agencies,so as to improve enterprise's ability to resist to uncertain risks.Entrepreneurial learning can effectively enhance enterprise's ability to utilize and transform internal and external information and resources,so as to maintain its innovation vigor and realize its innovational development.Based on the review of relevant literatures on guanxi network,entrepreneurial learning and entrepreneurial performance both at home and abroad,this paper establishes its theoretical model with business network and political network as the independent variables,exploratory learning and exploitative learning as the mediating variables and entrepreneurial performance as the dependent variable,and then puts forward the corresponding research hypotheses.This paper also refers to some mature questionnaires to scientifically design its research questionnaire,and collects 189 questionnaires from venture companies.At last,this paper adopts SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 to do the descriptive statistical analysis,reliability analysis,validity analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis,so as to test the reasonability of the theoretical model and research hypotheses.This paper comes to the following four research conclusions based on the empirical study.Firstly,both business network and political network can facilitate the enterprise's entrepreneurial performance.Secondly,both exploratory learning and exploitative learning can facilitate the enterprise's entrepreneurial performance.Thirdly,business network has a positive effect on both exploratory learning and exploitative learning,while political network only has a positive effect on exploratory learning but not on exploitative learning.Fourthly,exploitative learning has a mediating effect on the relationship between both business network and political network with entrepreneurial performance,while exploitative learning only has a mediating effect on business network and entrepreneurial performance.
