Since the Reform and Opening up,China has made great achievements in economic development.The growing labor demand of industrial economy has liberated Chinese Rural Surplus Labor.The combination of factors in agricultural production has been adjusting to the time.With the market mechanism promoting in countryside,the production methods and lifestyle of rural household have had a dramatic change.Rural household resource endowment has improved greatly.In the new era,the traditional theories of small farmers have been unable to fully explain the current motives and patterns of smallholders' behavior.Currently,the state is carrying out the "industry nurturing agriculture" development strategy,the agriculture development has been getting more policies policy preferences than ever before.The Eighteenth Conference also pointed to building a moderately well-off society in 2020,and building a moderately well-off society,"three rural issues" is essential.Farmer is the key to understanding the basis of rural and agricultural,therefore,to establish a new rural peasant economy base on the current situation of farming has become increasingly urgent.With the "Economy Analysis" principle and the "new economic man"hypothesis,this paper sorted out the traditional theory of small farmers,established a "family budget model" to divided the development stages of smallholders into three parts,defined the perfectly economy rationality border of smallholders.After the judgment of the current stage of development in which small peasants stay in,this paper analyzed the motivation and patterns of current small peasants with the"socialized small farmers" perspective.The underlying assumption of Socialized peasant is that small farmer is facing a huge pressure of money expending because of peasant's high level of socialization.This paper used the assumption,but sort of a quantify analysis to the money expenditure pressure of small peasant.The main contents of this paper are divided into six parts.Part 1,the first chapter.Introduction.Brief the research background and significance of the thesis framework,introduce the research methods and innovations the innovation and the inadequate.Part 2,the second chapter.Literature review.This part sorts out the traditional theory of small peasant,introduced the main points of each school of small peasant theory.Part 3,the third chapter.Discrimination of the rationality of small peasant.With the "economic analysis" principle and the "new economic man" hypothesis,this chapter discriminate the rationality of small peasant.Part 4,the fourth and fifth chapter.The fourth chapter judged the development stage of small peasant based on the current statistical data.The fifth chapter delivered an economic analysis to the "Money Ethics" of small peasant,to find the microscopic foundation for the economic theory of socialized small peasant.Part 5,the sixth chapter analyzed agricultural trends in the coming period to establish the macroeconomic environment for the socialized small peasant.Part 6,the seventh chapter delivered a conclusion:faced different historical background,institutional environment and family endowments,the small peasant has different motivations and patterns of behavior.
