The Influence Of Mining Industry Listing Corporation Social Responsibility On The Financial Performance

With the high speed development of today's global economy,there is a series of environmental and social problems.After reform and opening of China,there are more and more companies ignoring corporate social responsibility,such as labor disputes.Consumers' infringement problems,the employment security and health problems,environmental pollution problems.These problems not only affect the business operation of enterprises,but also threaten the development of social stability and healthy.Corporate social responsibility has become a hot issue and China's government,companies,scholar all pay attention on it.Mining industry is the pillar of the economy of our country industry.The development of mining industry provides rich raw materials for various industry departments.Mining industry plays an important role of supporting and promoting the national economy development.However,the mining industry is a high risk,high consumption industry.The production of raw materials comes mostly from hazardous substances,so it's easy to explosion if mishandled.Those problems will cause economic losses,environmental pollution,casualties and huge waste of scarce resources.So the normal operation of mining industry needs the companies to focus on various social interests to keep highly social responsibility.In order to ensure the development of the national economy,in order to safeguard the interests of employees and to stable social environment,mining enterprises must pay attention to corporate social responsibility.This paper takes the stakeholder theory as the framework,combined with the actual situation of China's mining industry listing Corporation,constructs the evaluation index system of mining industry corporate social responsibility evaluation index system and financial performance by using structural equation model.There is an empirical analysis about the relationship of mining industry Corporation social responsibility and the financial performance to study the relationship between them.According to the stakeholder theory,this paper try to construct the listed mining industry listing Corporation social responsibility evaluation index system,from the analysis of shareholders,employees,partners,government,social,environment to fulfill the social responsibility of the object and content,then determine the mining industry listing Corporation specific indicators of social responsibility and financial performance related indicators.In the empirical analysis,there are data on the operation of each variable with structure equation model,the fitting degree of model analysis,correction and hypothesis testing,research,so that we can analysis on the relationship between mining industry companies' social responsibility and financial performance.According the results of the study,we can find that corporate social responsibility and financial performance has a significant impact.Mining enterprises to shareholders,employees,government to fulfill the social responsibility and financial performance is positively related.Business partners to fulfill their social responsibility on the financial performance showed a significant negative correlation.The results show that,the corporate social responsibility will bring to the enterprise financial performance.Companies should consider the long-term economic benefits to choose a positive commitment to social responsibility,especially to increase the focus on community and the social responsibility of the environmental concern.
