Experimental Research On Inter-regional Cooperation Public Goods With Different Incomes

The regional cooperation has become a common phenomenon in current economic life. It plays an important role in the development of regional economy. But most of the regional cooperation is very difficult to achieve, because the benefits from cooperation between partners is different, and the cooperation is unsustainable, with poor stability. Therefore, recognizing the law of the income differences'influence on both sides of the cooperation, and finding out of the ways to solve the negative influence of the income difference, becomes the key factor to promote the effective cooperation between the regions.Previous scholars in the study on regional cooperation mostly from the political science perspectives of " intergovernmental relations ", the author analyzes the reasons of the difficult regional cooperation, such as the differences of market development degree; the conflict between planned economy and market economy system of cooperation dilemma; regional cooperation coordination mechanism is not sound; the difference of the promotion of local government officials; industrial isoorphism reduces the cooperation etc. But these are unable to effectively solve the problem of regional cooperation. And in the process of these studies, they all regard region as a whole in general, they did not find out that people plays an important part in regional cooperation as the microcosmic individual. In fact, in the reality of all kinds of organization structure, nested situation is common, which includes three levels of individuals, groups and global. Regional cooperation is also not exceptional, and it also includes three nesting levels of personal, regional, global. It is called the social dilemma when people encounter individual and collective choice dilemma. So this three layers of nested social dilemma is referred as "nested social dilemma" (NSD). Therefore, we should pay more attention to the contribution of individual in the study of regional cooperation problems in NSD situation.When we research on the decision-making behavior of the individual, this paper combines the traditional regional economics and behavior economics, and analyzes the characteristic of the individual decision-making behavior from the choosing collection theory, social identity theory, equity theory, expectation theory and so on. In the process of concrete research, to obtain data on the regional cooperation with traditional economics method is very difficult, and it can't be ruled out the relevant external interference factors. Accordingly, we introduce the method of experimental economics into the research of regional cooperation.In the process of the research, we set up two global public goods in the nested model, and both the contribution income of each global cooperation public goods is differ, but the sum of the difference returns of two global public goods is balanced. We gain the following conclusions with descriptive statistics and statistical inference of the contribution of individual values:(1) During the process of group cooperation, when individuals'interests from the public goods in cooperation are different, people's contributions in the cooperation of the two public goods cooperation are larger than contributions in the global public goods. (2) In the process of collaborative group, compared with the big collective, people are more willing to own more contributions to the group. (3) In the group cooperation in two areas, people are more active to cooperate in different MPCR than the people with same MPCR. (4) Under the two global public goods between the two groups, the difference of MPCR should be moderate, which can improve the level of cooperation. (5) Under the two areas of cooperation, when individuals'MPCR is different, as the change of time, people have stable cooperation intention.In the study of regional cooperation, this text has three innovations:(1) In this paper, it studies the regional cooperation combining the traditional economics with behavior economics. We make use of the theory of regional public goods and the related theory of behavioral economics to analysis the microcosmic individual decision-making behavior in the regional cooperation, and summarize laws, in order to improve the effectiveness of the regional cooperation. (2) Introducing the method of experimental economics to the study of regional cooperation. Through the laboratory experiment method, which can be designed through the experiment, we can eliminate external influencing factors and obtain more accurate data, as a new method to study the regional cooperation. (3) This paper studies the regional cooperation from a new perspective. It studies the regional cooperation from the perspective of macro and micro. We should pay attention to the cooperative behavior of regional overall, and pay more attention to regional micro individual decision-making behavior on public goods supply, which also is a possible innovation of this article.
