Considering the reducing of oil reserve capacity and environmental deterioration,the new energy vehicle industry is becoming the focus of all the countries in the world with the feature of Zero Emission.The major and famous vehicle companies are making more efforts to the R&D and application of new energy vehicles.While,China new energy vehicle industry is developed a little late than that of some countries,but it has developed very fast with the vast domestic market and the advantages in raw material.After more than 10 years' development,the sales volume of new energy vehicles in China becomes the top 1 in the world in 2015.However,in the international market,China new energy vehicle hasn't make well prepared for fierce competition.Thus,how to improve its international competitiveness of China new energy vehicle is an urgent topic we need to pay attention to.The writer targets at contributing to improve the international competitiveness of China new energy vehicle by discussing the international competitiveness factors of China new energy vehicle.Firstly,this paper defines the meaning and classification of new energy vehicle and introduce the basic theories of new energy vehicle.And then describes the general condition of China new energy vehicle as well as compares the condition of that in America and Japan.Next,analyzes the factors that affect the competitiveness by Porter's diamond model and the SWOT theory.In the end,gives some suggestions of the international competitiveness of China new energy vehicle,such as let the market play the leading role;improve the R&D and innovation on technology;cultivate the professional talents;make the international development strategy;advocate the public concept of "green travel".
