In recent years,with the national economic development and social progress,the living standards of Chinese people have been improving year by year.As a result,more and more people have the needs for travel.But this is a huge group made up of various tourists who have multi-level and diversified expectations.How to exactly understand their expectations and satisfy their needs has become a headache for most tourist destinations.The Red Flag Canal,a famous scenic spot located in Linzhou City,Henan Province,has made some achievements with its rich landscape and cultural resources in recent years.But compared to other same-level scenic spots,the Red Flag Canal still has a long way to go in its development process and marketing and management levels.The Red Flag Canal Spirit is a reflection of the self-reliance and hard work of the modern Chinese people and it is also a treasure of the Red Culture.Therefore,there is practical significance in continuing the inheritance and promotion of the Red Flag Canal Spirit.By studying Red Flag Canal,this paper puts forward some suggestions about marketing for the red tourism market in the canal based on the analysis of the present development of red tourism in the canal.This full text consists of five parts:Part One demonstrates the reasons and significance of studying the Red Flag Canal as well as introduces the research methods,theoretical basis,main contents and ideas of research.Part Two makes an analysis of the general situation of red tourism in the Red Flag Canal and illustrates it from three aspects:the origin of red tourism in the canal,the current situation of red tourism in the canal and the existing problems of red tourism in the canal.In addition,it also points out the existing marketing problems in the red tourism market in the canal.Part three analyzes the advantages and disadvantages as well the external opportunities and challenges in red tourism in the Red Flag Canal by reading a lot of literature and information,conducting field research in the canal and interviewing people.In the process of research and survey,it collects first-hand research data by distributing questionnaires and also makes an analysis of the red tourist market in the canal as well as tourists' degree of satisfaction.The descriptive analysis method is mainly used in the tourist market,while the IPA analysis method is adopted for the tourists' degree of satisfaction based on reliability testing.Combined with the above analysis,it clearly points out which aspect has problems in red tourism in the canal.Part Four introduces the marketing strategies for the red tourism market in the Red Flag Canal.According to the previous analysis and combined with the present development situation of red tourism and resources in the canal,it puts forward the marketing strategies for the red tourism market in the canal.Part Five concludes and expresses prospects.It is also a summary of the contents and views.But developing red tourism in the Red Flag Canal is a long-term task,so this paper in the end expresses prospects on some issues which still need studying in the future.What's more,by studying and researching red tourism in the Red Flag Canal,this paper hopes it could be a research model for other people who also conduct research on red tourism.At the same time,in order to further promote the development of China's red tourism,the research methods and ideas may also be used as a reference by other red tourist destinations.
