Regional marketing is the application and development of marketing theory and method in regional economic activities. The regional marketing research at home and abroad is still at the preliminary stage with multi-subjects overlapping. Regional tourism marketing is a branch in the field of tourism economy of regional marketing. It is of great significance to the achievement of regional value and obtains more and more recognitions from all local governments.Because regional tourism marketing still belongs to newly-emerged things in our country, the acknowledgement of its nature and function system needs further deepening in theory. Its research in the academia has not been fully launched and left the larger research space. In practice, the general standard of regional tourism marketing is relatively low with many problems. Therefore, this thesis gives active theoretical substantiation for the new research of regional tourism marketing and searches for the regional tourism marketing strategic construction to display regional tourism function and upgrade regional competition. Analysing the real example of regional tourism marketing in Quanzhou and researching the marketing method of regional tourism offer beneficial reference for the regional marketing subject especially the government' s practice activity.
