Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,with the continuous development of social economy and the progress of mobile Internet,China’s Internet companies in mergers and acquisitions market upsurge of investment continued to rise,more and more Internet companies by way of mergers and acquisitions to improve competitiveness and expand market share.Through mergers and acquisitions,enterprises can reduce the risk of development,reduce barriers to entry and optimize the allocation of resources.In e-commerce and the rapid transformation of traditional industries under the catalysis of the Internet,the record amount of mergers and acquisitions of Internet companies in China has been refreshed,some of which are worthy of further study and discussion.This paper selects the representative of Internet companies-Alibaba as a case study,this paper introduces a series of cases of Alibaba of strategic mergers and acquisitions,and mergers and acquisitions analysis law,analyzes the merger rules around the core business of Alibaba.And through summing up its mergers and acquisitions on the strategic intent,the horizontal integration,vertical integration,diversification strategy,combined with the Internet era background to analyze why the Alibaba merger and acquisition strategy,motive analysis of Alibaba strategic acquisitions of large-scale mergers and acquisitions tide under the integrated use of motivation theory to strategic mergers and acquisitions.In addition,this paper makes a deep analysis of the synergy eect of Alibaba’s strategic M & a activities.The first uses financial indicators analysis to measure the performance of Alibaba,and the enterprise’s strategic M & A activity from and management synergy,operating synergy to identify and test the financial synergy eect and three aspects of eect,based on the analysis of the acquisition process,and then to explore the synergistic eect of Alibaba’s strategic mergers and acquisitions with a discounted cash flow the econometric model has been eectively.Finally,this paper studies the Alibaba merger motivation and synergy eect,using the summarized method to the conclusion of the thesis is summarized,and based on this,puts forward some suggestions and prospect for further acquisitions of China’s Internet industry strategy,hope that this research can provide theoretical and practical reference for other Internet companies and Alibaba in mergers and acquisitions.
