In recent years,with the rise of emerging technologies such as information interconnection,mobile Internet tide and big data,the new interactive approach and cultural trend have become more and more important to employees’ social network and staff performance.As the eternal pursuit of the enterprise,employee performance is also an important content of human resource management practice and theoretical research.Employee social network is the key factor influencing employee behavior and employee performance in human resource management practice.There are a few researches on the influencing factors of employee performance and the social network of employees.However,the research on the impact process and mechanism of employee social network on employee performance,especially from the perspective of employee-organization fit(E-O fit),has not yet formed unified conclusion at home and abroad.On the basis of literature research,267 employees of new technological enterprises in China were investigated as an object of study.From the view of employees’ social network and employee-organization fit,this paper discusses the mechanism of employee social network how to affect staff performance,and the paper discusses the intermediary role of E-O fit.This paper studies the mechanism of employee social network,E-O fit on employee performance in a dynamic and composite perspective,which makes up for the shortcomings of existing research to a certain extent.Based on the survey data,using SPSS21.0 and other methods for empirical research,the hypothesis model proposed in this paper was verified to put out the following main conclusions—First of all,the network density,network scale and network heterogeneity of employees’ social networks have a positive effect on employee performance.Second,Employee-organization fit plays a full mediating role in the relationship between network size and task performance.Employee-organization fit plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between network size and contextual performance.Employee-organization fit plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between network density or network heterogeneity and employee performance.The main innovation of this paper is that this paper explores the influence mechanism of social network on employee performance from the perspective of interaction between organizational and individual factors.Furthermore,the mediating role of employee-organization fit in this relationship between employees’ social networks and employees’ performance is also clarified in the paper.
