Research On The Contribution Rat Of Higher Education To Economic Growth Jilin Province

In the 21 st century,with the vigorous development of the era of economy,the contribution of higher education to economic growth has become increasingly prominent,from the marginalization of society to the center,carrying the mission of social material and spiritual civilization development,and played the role of innovation and scientific research results.A country or region’s economic growth rate and mode of development are often affected by the level of local higher education development.At present the national higher education and economic growth are showing the situation of different development.However,at the end of the 20 th century,countries carry out the enrollment expansion of colleges,resulting in between higher education and economic growth is not reasonable,uncoordinated problems raised increasingly,which make that the contribution to economic growth in an universities of province is not obvious.In the past for a long time will be made between the two is under threat.And,Jilin Province as one of the revitalization of the northeast old industrial base,the level of development of higher education and economic development are very low.It is necessary to study the contribution of higher education to provincial economic growth in Jilin Province through empirical research,and to analyze the corresponding reasons and put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions.The aim is that two aspects need harmonious development and making a great contribution.This paper makes a quantitative analysis of the contribution rate of higher education to economic growth in Jilin Province.The main sports Cobb Douglas production function calculation methods and thoughts to establish the same model of education investment in Jilin Province.Using the specific method of Denison education for economic growth analyze the contribution rate of higher education for economic growth from 1994 to 2014.The results show that the contribution of higher education to economic growth in Jilin Province is 1.464%,while the contribution value of the whole country is 2.326%,bellowing the actual level of each province.Obviously,improving the relevant aspects of higher education is the main task of accelerating economic growth.This paper is divided into four parts,the main parts as follows: The first part mainly introduces the related concepts and theoretical basis.the second part analyzes the current development of higher education and economic growth in Jilin Province,and then the correlation analysis of them;in the third part,firstly,building model,secondary,calculating the contribution rate of higher education in Jilin Province to economic growth,and then compared with the national contribution rate,drawing conclusions and making the analysis of related reasons.The fourth part makes a comprehensive summary,and puts forward some of feasible countermeasures and suggestions.
