Since the 21 st century,payment field has great changes with the rapid development of the Internet,IT technology and the smart phone.Especially people using 2-dimensional bar code to pay,has occupied most of the payment market.In August 2016,Payment & Clearing Association of China(PCAC)issued to payment agencies the document " rules to regulate QR code payment business",indicating that the official first time to recognize the market position of QR code payment.The introduction of this document means that ways of payment gradually transfer from the PC side to the mobile side,not only the traditional online banking payments have been threatened,the usage of POS payments,bank credit cards,debit card is also significantly reduced,bank business been affected,which brings a huge challenge to commercial banks.As an indispensable part of the two-dimensional code payment industry chain,commercial banks will face even greater challenges if they do not take advantage of their own resources and advantages to participate actively in the two-dimensional code payment business as soon as possible.This paper starts with the phenomenon of the rise of the QR code payment,and makes a systematic description of the necessity and significance of the commercial banks to actively carry out the QR code payment business.The article mainly analyzes the overall market environment of the QR code payment business,the development needs of the commercial bank’s own business,the existing advantages and disadvantages of the commercial banks and the willingness of the users.Through the consumer questionnaire survey,this paper analysis the impact of the QR code payment business and provides advice about how commercial banks to develop QR code payment business,These Suggestions are given from three aspects :the strategic layout,product strategy and marketing strategy.In the strategic layout,this paper proposes to strengthen the cooperation between banks,strengthen cooperation with the main body of the QR code payment chain,raise the threshold of the third party payment agency.In the product strategy,this paper proposes to improve the bank’s QR code payment products function and strengthen the safety of their products to enhance customer experience.In the marketing strategy,this paper puts forward to expand the market payment scenarios,rich marketing activities and other specific recommendations.This paper aims to promote the development of China’s commercial banks’ mobile payment business by studying the QR code payment business and development countermeasures of China’s commercial banks,and optimize the business transformation process of China’s commercial banks and continuously improve the development of China’s payment industry.
