Mianzi is widely existed in people’s life and work,and has a significant impact on employee’s cognition,attitude and behavior,and affects on employee voice behavior in a specific way,voice behavior as constructive behavior to promote business performance and healthy development is particularly important.This paper based on Chinese cultural background,selects the family business employees as the object of investigation,to explore the impact of mianzi on employee voice behavior,and introduced SSG an intermediary variable.Based on the literature review,this paper puts forward the research hypotheses and constructs the corresponding research models,with more than 319 employees from 50 family enterprises as the sample empirical research.The results of statistical analysis show that mianzi is prevalent among the family enterprises employees and the frequency of voice behavior and the quality of SSG should be improved.The analysis of variance further showed that ability mianzi were different in gender,marriage,age,educational background,working years,coexistence time with superior and monthly income;prohibitive voice behavior were different in gender,marriage and departments;SSG were different in marriage and departments.The results of correlation analysis confirm that there was a significant positive correlation between mianzi,SSG and voice behavior.In addition to the negative correlation between the ability mianzi and prohibitive voice behavior,ability mianzi and interpersonal relationship mianzi are not related to the SSG,the other dimensions were positively correlated.The regression results show that the mianzi has positive predictive effects on SSG and voice behavior,except that the interpersonal relationship mianzi has no significant positive predictive effect on the promotive voice,ability mianzi has negative predictive effects on prohibitive voice,the positive predictive effect was obvious among the other dimensions;SSG has a significant positive effect on the employee’s voice behavior;SSG plays a part of mediating role in the relationship between mianzi and the family enterprise employee’s voice behavior.According to the empirical results,this paper from mianzi and SSG two aspectsto put forward the corresponding management recommendations,so as to provide some references for family enterprises to improve the frequency of employee’s voice behavior and to promote the improvement of enterprise performance.
