| At present,the Chinese government attaches great importance to the issue of farmers ’income and proposes to double farmers’ incomes by 2020.However,the current income of farmers is facing a lot of problems,especially the income gap between urban and rural residents,the regional income gap between farmers is showing a trend to continue to expand.How to improve the income of peasants,and further narrow the income gap between farmers is imminent.The purpose of this paper is to study the impact of forestry carbon sequestration on farmers’ income through carbon sinks,and to discuss how to solve the problem of income increase and income gap.Firstly,the advantages and feasibility of forestry carbon sequestration are studied.It is pointed out that forestry carbon economy has a positive effect on narrowing the income gap between urban and rural residents and the regional income gap of farmers.Secondly,through the case study of Zhejiang Province and Songyang County,the forest carbon sequestration method was used to calculate the forestry carbon sequestration.By analyzing the price of carbon sequestration,three different carbon sink prices were used to estimate the carbon sequestration economy value.Finally,the paper analyzes the impact of the economic value of carbon sinks on farmers’ income in Zhejiang Province under three different carbon sink prices.This paper has carried on the related research analysis to Zhejiang Province,and draws the following research conclusion:(1)The implementation of forestry carbon economy is conducive to promoting the increase of farmers’ income in Zhejiang Province and further narrowing the income gap be-tween urban and rural residents.And broaden the new ways to increase farmers ’income,which provides a new perspective for the study of farmers’ income.In addition,it is also conducive to change the status of urban and rural economic development imbalance,breaking the dual urban and rural economic structure,and promote urban and rural development.(2)In the case of forestry carbon sequestration,the income of carbon sinks has a higher impact on the income of peasants in Songyang County,especially in the area of economic underdevelopment,especially the ecological function area.It can not only increase the income of peasants in Songyang County,but also narrow the income gap between the regions and realize the coordinated development of regional economy.(3)The impact of the economic value of carbon sinks on farmers’ income is different under three different methods.The highest impact is the economic value of the carbon sink under the carbon tax law,followed by the economic value of the carbon sink under the forestation cost method,and finally the economic value of the carbon sink under the shadow pricing method.Although the economic value of carbon sink under different carbon price is different to farmers,the effect of forestry carbon economy on farmers’ income as a whole is still obvious. |
