Since the reform and opening up,People's live has changed a lot.The income grows rapidly;the quality of people's life improves fast.But there are a lot of discord issues,such as the income gap continues to widen,the Gini coefficient,once arrived alert value.Widening income gap is a reflection of social injustice;it will cause social instability uncertainties,which is the theme of today's world peace and development contrary.As we all know,economic development needs a stable and harmonious social environment.In real life,there are many forms of income disparity issues such as the gender pay gap.In recent years,with the rapid development of China's economy,there is already a large number of rural labor liberation from agriculture.They put into all aspects of socialist economic construction and made tremendous contributions to the development of China's economy.There is a more serious problem of the gender wage gap between these people.The rural labor force as the labor market vulnerable groups,concerned about their survival and development has important practical significance.In this paper,we analysis the trends of China's rural labor wage gender gap and its influencing factors.Specifically including the following aspects:(I)Summarizes research literatures about gender wage gap,summarized the factors affecting rural labor wages.(2)Analysis the basic features of the rural labor force and employment status descriptive statistics,investigated the gender wage gap in different regions as well as in different ownerships.(3)Using OLS regression analysis the influence of various factors on rural labor wage and by gender coefficient of study to analyze trends in the gender wage gap.(4)Adopting Neumark decomposition method,decompose the gender wage gap in different periods.(5)According to the previous findings,producing policy recommendations which are aimed at reducing the gender wage gap.The main conclusions of this paper are:(1)In china's rural labor force,there is a large gender gap in wages,and the gap showing growing trend.The extent of the gender wage gap in the different regions and ownership conditions are not the same.The gender wage gap between eastern and western regions shows a widening wage gender gap.And in the central region,the gap is to be less than the east and west.The gender wage gap in non-state-owned enterprises continues to deteriorate.(2)The regression results show that educational had no significant effect to the wages of rural labor force,but experience significant has influence on the wage level of rural labor force,and the extent of the influence is growing;wages in eastern region is higher than in other regions;the ownership's impact on male wages has gradually disappeared;the impact of work experience for women in wage levels are gradually strengthened.
