Geographical indications of agricultural products as a new intellectual property,to ensure the quality of agricultural products,promote agricultural product visibility,promote the agricultural product trade plays a very significant role.The additional culture value of the local tourism industry and related by-products industry also play a important role.In 2008,"YiCheng pomegranate" officially become a geographical indication products,yicheng district of pomegranate industry,tourism plays a significant role.Therefore,yicheng district government for YiCheng pomegranate geographical indication also attaches great importance to the development of the construction and protection.The purpose of this paper is to study yicheng district of pomegranate industry development and construction of geographical indication protection situation,hope can provide protection for the next YiCheng pomegranate construction reference.In this paper,using the survey method,qualitative and quantitative analysis method and case method of the combination of four kinds of research methods,through random investigation,and after analyzing the result of the analysis of survey data,this paper,the following main conclusions:First,the "YiCheng pomegranate" industry is developing rapidly in recent years,the rapid increase of planting area,yield and for the local producers made great economic benefits;Geographical indication although has obtained certain achievements in the protection and construction,but also has some problems,such as geographical indications consciousness is weak;Management problems;Insufficient awareness of geographical indication,the scale of industry remains to be promotion.All these problems need to the attention of the main body of protection of geographical indications,and to solve them.Second,the analysis of YiCheng pomegranate geographical indication protection main body,and on the basis of investigation and study found YiCheng pomegranate geographical indication protection group has certain problem,though,the broad masses of farmers to system of geographical indication is recognized,and hopes to provide a certain amount of technical guidance,and has certain rights consciousness,but lacked an understanding of the system of geographical indication,the consciousness of protection is not enough in place.Third,through the analysis of geographical indication protection main body,combined with the actual situation of Yicheng district,for YiCheng pomegranate subject construction of geographical indications,gives some constructive Suggestions,such as the geographical indication consciousness;Perfect management mode:to improve awareness of geographical indication,and promote industry upgrading,etc.
